    Doesn't matter anyway with Mayweather and Pacquiao fighting on May 2nd this fight would be pushed off the May 2nd date. Nobody would watch or attend the fight Cotto-Kirkland will be pushed back to May 30th.

    :patsch Bucky, Canelo said he was willing to step aside and not fight on May 2 IF Mayweather-Pacquiao got signed. But cuz Floyd is fooling everyone once again and making us think he'll sign tho he won't unless Pacquiao leaves TR, what he's really doing is creating buzz and hype and stealing Canelo's original date, who was Cotto. Damn B, Floyd is poking your eyes 3 stooges-style and you still defend his ass. Everyone knows Canelo is no Salvador Sanchez, a legend by 23, but Lara didn't deserve the win either and I had it a draw. That cut on Lara's face wasn't from a headbutt or elbow!

    I like canelo, he has the mentality of a atg to fight any one. But he should realize that cotto is the A side. Though he did agree to all his demands, he should have never put a clock on cotto. I was more excited for this fight then PAC vs may.

    it does matter because Cotto-Canelo ISNT HAPPENING!! Thats why it matters! Cotto knew all along that May-pac was gonna get this done and tried to tell little baby foots Canelo that We should do June 6 or 13th for a back up plan and Canelo got butt hurt and said peace.

    Now Canelo IS STILL NOT GONNA FIGHT ON MAY 2 but now hes not in a mega fight for MW Lineal crown on PPV, now its Kirkland on regular HBO, he's just gotta learn the hardway. oscar better tell this fool next time though because if Canelo comes with Cotto or GGG for Septemeber when everybody knows damn well May-Pac 2 is happening then Oscar is literally gonna have to take off his belt and give the boy a spanking for being a bad kid

    yes Canelo is old school and i love this guy but you never put a clock on somebody ESPCIALLY WHEN YOUR THE B SIDE AND THE FIGHT WAS STILL A GOOD 100+ DAYS AWAY!!

    This is when oscar walks into the room and all you hear is *SLAP* :lol::lol::lol:

    Canelo said he was gonna step aside but was in a rush to gt his fight done like it was a month away!! he basically put a clock on Cotto,pacquiao and Mayweather ALL ATG'S!!! Canelo will learn the hard way, never put a clock on fighters when your the B side.

    As for May-Pac you must be blind if you dont think this is happening. you truly think they just happened to show up at the game, with Floyd wearing a Filipino sweater, then have an hour long meeting in the hotel room to just hang out and not finalize the fight?? Come on bros...

    like I said before

    Manny approves a Mayweather commcercial a good MONTH before his Algeri fight (who The F**K does that) Floyd said last summer next May 2 will be a huge surprise

    Fight has been agreed to but lets not announce till super bowl to get maximum exposure! so what do they do

    Pac comes up with fake deadline of jan 31 knowing damn well they already agreed to announce the fight on the super bowl, that gets Pac fans and ppl more pumped and still think Mayweather scared= more PPV buys

    Mayweather announces he will make fight announcement this weekend so he cancles trip to Austrila ( They said Visa problems, yeah right, also how come you just dont announce over there on your twitter...must be big)

    manny movie comes out to help casuals look into his life with Mega fight bout to happen! That Picked up an extra 10k-200k buys from casuals!

    Now Koncz gets caught in the biggest Lie ever and says "We were gonna fly to the Philpines from New York but it got Canclled because of the storm....SO YOU TELLING ME KONCA AND PAC WERE THE ONLY ONES IN THIS COUNTRY THAT DIDNT KNOW THAT STORM WAS COMING!?!?! Right....

    Then they have a metting in the Hotel

    Now if you cant see the fights getting announced this weekend then you must really hate Mayweather and thats hella sad :good:good

    Showtime - The network that was banking on Canelo being their future star gave the fight to Trout..but wait their bias too right?? ESPN's Brian Campbell gave it to Trout.

    And I guess we just brush off the fact that Trout landed 30 more punches that fight??

    Canelo is very young. He is doing a fantastic job for a 24 year old by taking on tough or entertaining fights.

    Canelo has time to beat the snot out of Cotto. I think this will be a great build-up fight for the ginger and hopefully can get even more interest for the Cotto fight.

    So would Canelo what's your point? Imo Trout might be done at this point But the fact is that when BOTH faced a PRIME Trout Canelo did way better than Cotto.

    Except that is totally not what happened and you know it.

    Quit trying to say Canelo was saying May 2nd or nothing, the plan was always to move the date if PAC-Floyd actually happened and everyone knows it by now.

    I mean even though the Kirkland-Canelo fight is a done deal, the date is still in flux because they are waiting on MAy-PAC to happen or not. You are seriously trying to sell the idea that Canelo told a much bigger payday it was May 2nd or nothing, no matter what... but will take a smaller payday to a later week if Floyd-PAC happens?

    Thats not even slightly realistic. HBO was never going to compete with a PAC PPV, let alone vs Floyd, and noone thinks they would, your scenario is not even slightly realistic.
