Ok. Now how do you explain Purrity and Brewster? Did Wlad take those fights "lightly" too? When you see a guy getting KTFO'ed by the same level of opposition then that is called a TREND.
Nah, Bowe and Holyfield would too, but Lewis and Tyson would destroy him a lot worse, Tyson would have broken his jaw. You guys accuse me of being anti-brit and racist, but Lewis was an absolute beast, I rank him above a prime Tyson(not head to head really hard to pick head to head prime for prime, but resume+skills I give to Lewis), and the best heavyweight of the 90's. I'm just real bruh, i tell it how it is, if someone like Calzaghes best wins werent 40+ year old senior citizens in Hopkins(which was debatable), and RJJ, then I would give him his credit!
Hopkins was still an excellent fighter. Calzaghe also beat Kessler who is probably also Ward's bets win.
The Lennox Lewis fight has NOTHING to do with this debate. You're asking what could Tyson have done on the inside, and have then given examples of the Holyfield and Lewis fights. On the inside, Mike could have ripped him with a body shot or an uppercut, or even both in a combo. Again, what does the fact that Wlad has never lost to a 5'10 guy before, prove?
Um not sure if you have seen the fight but Mike didn't land very many punches so no he didn't beat the hell out of him.
No he wasn't. Those guys only went the distance because they were good movers or had rock solid chins. Wlad is glass in the body and head.
Excellent but still not even close to his prime. I also had Hopkins winning so, I don't really count that on Slappy Joe's resume. Ward has Dawson the guy who beat an old fart Hopkins equivalent to the one Joe beat on his resume, Abraham, Kessler, and Froch who are better wins than an old fart RJJ. Overall Ward has teh better resume, but if he retired today he wouldn't go down as an ATG in my books, and neither is Slappy Joe.
Prime Tyson's favorite combo was probably the left hook to the body followed by the left uppercut. Would have ended Wlad's career...
