She's worked hard. Although I have never seen her actively campaigning, and I personally don't agree with her receiving Australian of the year. It would've been better off going to the founder of the "One Punch" campaign. A campaign that says domestic violence against EVERYONE is wrong.

Back onto the subject but. It would interesting so see how the government/media would react if Mayweather was a gay guy that beat his BOYFRIEND. A bit of hypothetical ssoup for the soul...

Just got email today saying it's still a go ahead and original tickets will still be honored.

guess it could all fall apart next week but the fat lady isn't singing yet.

It is very unlikely they will refuse the visa. It is all a publicity stunt. They just want to make it seem like, they are making it hard for Floyd to obtain a visa but in the end they will grant it. After all, a convicted ****** and confessed druggie aka Mike Tyson was granted a visa.

If Floyd wanted to apply for a residence visa, that would be another story.

His criminal record does not automatically prevent him from entering Australia. Its the character test that may prevent him from remaining in the country that could pose a problem.

Isn't it also his entourage that's causing the problems.

When did Tyson get a visa? Several times he tried to come and was blocked.

What a joke that is. What the hell does Floyd need to bring 31 people with him.
