    Floyd has literally NEVER been outweighed by 30lb :lol: Freaking Andre Ward doesn't even weigh 30lb more than Floyd.

    I made a flow chart to settle this:

    FLOW CHART (IT HAS TO BE LEGIT, IT'S A FLOW CHART)

    1. Do you agree that Duran was at his best in the first Leonard fight and clearly something weird was going on in the second fight?
    -If 'Yes,' go to question #2. If 'No,' go to question #10.

    2. Do you agree that Leonard fought out of character in BOTH fights (forced to fight Duran's fight the first time and used a new clowning strategy to frustrate him in the second fight)?
    -If 'Yes,' go to question #3. If 'No,' go to question #10.

    3. Do you agree that Duran was shot to sh!t in the 3rd Leonard fight?
    -If 'Yes,' then Duran is better than Leonard and you may go to question #4. If 'No,' go to question #10.

    4. Do you agree that Hagler deserved the decision against Leonard and that Leonard clearly ducked a rematch?
    -If 'Yes,' then Hagler was better than Leonard and you may go to question #5. If 'No,' go to question #10.

    5. Do you agree that a shot Duran did enough to beat a prime Hagler (or at least draw)?
    -If 'Yes, then Duran was better than Hagler and you may go to #6. If 'No,' go to #10.

    6. Do you think it's reasonable that Duran would perform even better in his prime against Hagler?

    7. Do you agree that Hagler annihilated a prime Hearns?

    CONCLUSIONS:
    -Duran was better than Leonard (beat the prime version ABOVE his own prime weight).
    -Duran was better than Hagler (beat the prime version FAR ABOVE his own prime weight and past his own physical prime).
    -Hagler was better than Hearns (destroyed the prime version).
    -Hagler was better than Leonard (beat a faded version while equally faded himself, and was ducked before and after).
    -Leonard was better than Hearns (beat the prime version).
    -Hearns was fourth (stopped in his prime by Leonard and Hagler).

    in which round did roberto out box srl?...i just watched the fight and saw nothing like thjat....i'm a call you out on that bs right now.

    and it wasn't that srl couldn't adapt or find a way to win...it was that he was committed to standing flatfooted and trading with duran until somebody went down....in the rematches srl showed he was more than capable of adapting and winning against the likes of duran.

    dude, either you're in denial or just so fulla hate that you can't even see straight.. floyd has provided fight night weights in 90% of his fights....in ALL those cases, those guys outweighed floyd by 10-25 lbs.

    y'all mfkers kill me...you claim floyd is a coward for not fighting your heroes canelo or cotto or maidana ....then when he accepts their challenge and beats their a88, he's "making his career of slow, limited fighters." floyd has beaten EVERY significant fighter of the past 15 years from sfw to jmw, with the excpetion of margarito and pac. so, of course the reason he never fought the ped user and the guy who cheats with illegal wraps is because 'he's "scared"! but i understand, haters gotta hate.

    anyway, bottomline is,srl actually deserved to win the duran fight. if you don't believe me, watch it again and see for yourself...it was a close fight and both men dnd a lotta damage, but srl pulled it out. for some reason, people have managed to convince themselves through magical realism, that duran dominated this fight or that he held srl down and beat the stuffing out outta him...and that's clearly nbt what happened. in fact, it was the opposite. it was actually leonard, giving up all kinds of natural advantages to stand with the slugger and outslug him... and it's misleading for the young fans coming up who never saw the fight and hear people talk about it as if duran really out fought srl...that's not what happened either but those young fans believe it did because that's what they heard so much...then when they see the fight they'll be all confused about what's actually happening.

    if the judges had been guys who knew boxing but had no knowledge of who the fighters were, i think the decision would have been very different.

    that's to say, i think the judges were influenced by the reputation of the fighters as much as or even more than the action in the ring.

    this "loss" for srl says so much more about srl's greatness than it says anything at all about duran. it proves that srl, a guy known for his boxing finesse, could also stand and trade for 15 rounds with one of the all-time sluggers.

    that makes srl twice as great.

    duran got the decision... he didn't "win." leonard beat duran fighting duran's fight then beat duran fighting his own style.

    the fab 4 quadrant? so 5 fighters, named the fab 4, were quarter of a circle? keep trying to come across as intelligent, it's hilarious.

    unbiased boxing fans recognize and make a point that duran's greatness against those fighters is lb for lb, head to head is really only applicable at lightweight. no great surprise that goes over your head.

    :rofl Yeah, Leonard totally decided to "stand and slug." Go watch the fight you absolute idiot. I guess Mayweather decided to "stand and slug" with Cotto, JLC, and Maidana too lol.

    This is African Studies 101-level revisionist history here and it's hilarious to watch. Because to me, it proved that Duran could cut off and bang on one of the most elusive boxers. Keep going!

    dudes should just say what they mean... if you're all about duran beat srl because you just don't like the black guy it's OK. that's how you feel and i don't have a problem with it... but I'm saying, 90% of the arguments on this forum could be avoided if people were just honest about their race bias...instead of pretending there's some other reason that actually has something to do with boxing.

    he's talking pfp as if srl, hearns and duran were lhw and duran was a fw.

    ...duran was a full-fledged ww by the time he fought srl...same with the other guys except for hagler. he wasn't at any disadvantage any more than in the pipino cuevas or carlos palomino fights. the disadvantage he faced against the fab 4 was TALENT!...in fact srl was SO MUCH MORE TALENTED, HE COULD STAND FLAT-FOOTED AND TRADE WITH DURAN FOR 15 ROUNDS AND WIN THE FIGHT IN THE EYES OF MANY VIEWERS....and leonard wasn't even a slugger!...now tha's lke usain bolt giving another olympic runner a 20 yard head start then coming back to WIN over 100 meters.
