Wilder refused to fight Vlad or Fury, will probably fight

Even though I am a Fury fan no excuse if he doesn't take the fight. If you want that world title 500,000 to 1,000,000 is more than enough compensation to have a shot at the champion.

 

Well it obviously never went to purse bids wlads team low balled the fury's and in return they declined. Its a sensible business decision since Fury could face wilder, and make huge money , and if he wins there ,the fight with wlad becomes even bigger. More money all round for everyone involved.

Al Haymon signed Artur Szpilka just before Wilder-Stiverne, so don't be surprised if Wilder's first defense comes against Szpilka ... who Wilder should be able to handle with little problem.

I actually get in the ring and box myself, check my post history if you do not believe me I am a Fury fan. If he can get a shot at Wilder for 2 million fair enough if not and he turns down half a million or so to fight Wladimir that says to me he's just looking to cash out. Why is it a bad deal if he really believes he can win.

Sorry but if Wladimir offers him the obligatory amount he's done his bit. If Wladimir vacated to avoid the fight then I would agree but if not it just proves he either wants a few mil to cash out or wait for Wlad to retire.

Wilder isn't ready yet. He's still wet behind the ears. That wasn't the real Stiverne he beat. They claimed Stiverne was sick Others claimed the fight was fixed. Who knows which. Ive never seen Fury fight but the picture I have of him is the video on u tube of him punching himself. Joshua hasn't been tested either. Folks are so keen to find someone to beat Wlad lol.
Thing is any top HW in the 80's or 90 s would beat Wlad All he has is the size advantage

Im not saying Fury is a great fighter but he is entertaining, well worth watching.

Think Wilder will avoid Wladimir and be happy being the best of the rest. He will call ou Wladimir every time he has already a booked a fight so he can kid on he is being ducked. Think he needs to fight Povetkin or Fury to show that he's not just a bum though. Maybe take an easy fight in June and a decent opponent in September. He could make money fighting everyone that doesn't face Wladimir. Wouldn't be surprised to see David Haye try get a fight out of him. Could get a good payday fight in America which is all Haye wants.

 

There is a lot of funny business going on with Wilder's career that is for certain. The media's lack of coverage of it is also worrisome.
Just a few points- a Wilder received a number one ranking without facing any ranked opponents. He leap frogged many other fighters with superior resumes.
When he fought Stiverne- the WBC - granted numerous extensions on a purse bid.
Despite this practice when a deal was struck without going to bid Wilder received the larger Purse share. Why would Stiverne agree to that? Had he held out, he would of received an 80-20 split. When does the challenger earn more than the champion? Where is Stiverne's rematch clause? Don King has been around forever, far to long for such rediculous negotiations.
Don't get me started on the Malik Scott fight.
Where there is smoke there is usually powerful ppl pulling strings. It's obvious they are trying to manufacture a superstar athlete.
