no voice is better then lampley for boxing his voice is made for boxing I agree that buffer should be picked the lets get ready to rumble would be epic

the others should be Kellerman,maybe roy jones

al ber is boring as hell

lampley is entertaining and has the best voice boxing he may be too much sometimes but you can't knock his enthusiasm

 

when you got speed, power, stamina, and awkwardness mixed together, any boxer will hesitate walking that down specially with the experience of pac

 

He has great enthusiam but I can't stand two things about him:

1) "Hard right hand!! Another hard right hand!!" .... but nothing has landed, dude is blind.

2) "Now he's looking at his opponent, as if to say 'I'm here, come get me.'"...... but he's not, he's gasping for air.

He calls phantom punches and narrates fantasy thoughts from the fighters. Exciting? Yes. Delusional? Yes. And Al is a bit boring, but so is Jones. I don't pay too much attention to the commentators anyway.

 

It would be great if they trot Larry Merchant out there to do the post fight interviews imagine how excited he would be if Mayweather lost :rofl

Merchant was HBO Boxing. Shame they replaced him with a hack like Kellerman.

but for me lampley is great especially when fighters go toe2toe he loses his mind which makes it even more entertaining I remember the pac vs morales first fight round 12 that was some epic commentary roy and lamps and merchant were of the chain
