I don't do ban bets fool. How many times do I need to say it. I was offered a ban bet with PBF-Canelo but still declined and other fights as well. If you can't get it through your skull that I don't do ban bets then too bad. We can do a signature bet or something under the username. You want a ban bet because if Pac loses you won't have to stick around, ban bets are for pussies real posters stick around win lose or draw.

Then in the very next fight SRL proceeded to make Duran quit like a ***** by clowning and taunting him and make him public enemy #1 in his own country. The No Mas quit job over shawdowed his whole career.:deal He then went on to go 1-5 against his main rivals in SRL, Hearns, Benitez and Hagler and lost to guys like Lang and Simms.:deal

He signed to take the fight. Also always coming into fights in shape is a plus. Guys like Calzaghe, Froch, Pac, PBF, and Hopkins always do this. Guys like Bowe, Vargas, Arreola, Hatton and Duran don't it's no one's fault but themselves and it has to be held against them for lack of professionalism and lack of discipline. Staying in shape between fights is very important some guys don't take it as seriously and have lost because of it it's part of boxing. You can't give him a pass for that. Show up in shape that's your job.

    and,

On Planet Duran, it's as if the rematch and 'no mas' never happened. It's like to even broach the rematch only drives y'all to diddle yourselves more to overexaggerated dominance in the Montreal fight.

Sad. Hilarious, but sad all the same.

    No He didn't.

Neither Leonard nor his manager thought Leonard won the fight.

And Duran's win wasn't the least bit controversial.

And that was the best win of any meeting of any two of the Fab Four.

Stop it they offered Duran a boatload of money and Ray knew that Duran was letting himself go They fought in the same year ..Mayweather should never be brought into this discussion with they he fought only once a year and his cherry picking ways !

Who cares? That's Duran's fault no one else. You can't make that as an excuse some fighters let themselves go between fights while others don't. That's the way it is. It's not SRL's fault that Duran partied and drank too much between fights. We've seen this countless of times when fighters try and use that excuse and that's all it is an excuse. Duran inability to commit to year round fitness is a mark on his legacy like so many before and after him. He won't be the first and he won't be the last.

At the end of the day your right as a pro you should always be in tip top shape ..And he does have no one to blame but himself he didn't have to take the fight but it's not like SRL didn't know what he was doing when he immediately went for the rematch.

Fair post. A lot of fighters have a reputation of letting themselves go between fights why not take advantage of that if you can. No different than taking advantage of a guy who can't cut off the ring or can't make adjustments. Fitness is just as big apart of boxing as those two things I mentioned.

I agree with you about coming in in shape, Duran has only himself to blame. However, I don't see why he should take advantage of the situation, that just proves that he wants to win mostly for the public to see him beating Duran, not to prove to himself he can beat the best version of Duran, that's sort of a ***** move and lying to yourself. Not saying he wouldn't have beaten Duran though, with that style, he probably would have beaten him anyway.
