Povetkin because he'is w. klitschko's best win and this means he's an incredible
athlete and boxing MONSTER (like Mormeck, leapai or Pianeta).

Holyfield fought a Povetkin-like fight the first time against Bowe, and that was Bowe's finest hour. So I would think Bowe does very well here.

    I rate Povetkin, btw.

I think Bowe's size, physicality, power, chin and inside fighting game earn him a late stoppage win or decision. Alex gives him a tough go for his money though. This is assuming of course that we're looking at the Bowe from about 1991-1994 and not the one who fought Golata.

Rid**** knocks him out in 5 or 6 rounds, I've watched Povetkin for a few years now, and there's nothing in him that leaves me to believe he would beat Bowe::-( anything he does Bowe does a lot better...

Povetkin does fight a lot like Holyfield at Holy's stylistic best, tho he lacks some of the dynamic physicality of Vander... this does not bode extremely well for Alex.

Povetkin is a better fight than Andrew Golota and Andrew did well. Some of AP's earlier fight like Huck he would lose to Bowe but in his last 2 fights and others in the past he looked very good. The present AP would beat Bowe IMO

Povetkin was prime when he met Huck. Only reason he looked very good in his last two fights was because he was fighting Manuel Charr and Carlos Takem who are NOT Marco Huck. Bowe was fading when he fought Golata who incidentaly also fought dirty and had a bit more size and power than Povetkin has anyway. Once Eddie Futch left Bowe's camp, Ridd-cks resolve went south. Not the same guy by 1996 as he was in 1992.

Be that as it may, I still think Marco Huck is a better fighter than Manuel Charr or Carlos Takem. And I certainly wouldn't use those two men to try and illustrate why Povetkin is somehow better at age 35 than he was at 32.

Honestly, Charr is nowhere near TOP 15, and never was. Takam though better than Charr also didn't show he's anywhere near to Bowe unless you think losing to Gregory Tony or draw vs Perez could compare to win over prime Evander Holyfield.

Povetkin is taylor-made for such fighters as Bowe and Lewis.

He has short arms and therefore is effective on the inside only, his jab and strainght punches aren't good.

Bowe had the best inside game of all tall HW's, that's a fact.

Also Sasha is vulnerable to uppercuts which is one of the main Bowe's weapons.

    Bowe by KO, maybe late.

I agree.. Although I think that Povetkin could give Bowe a fight for a while. But at some point he's likely to get broken down and stopped.

I agree with a lot of this but will add...

Bowe a very good inside offensive game. But he had horrible inside defense. It was a major contributor to his short career. As good as Bowe's inside game was for a tall guy (and he's not that much taller than Alex), it wasn't as good as Povetkin's.

Motivated, in shape trained by Futch = Bowe by murder.

    Povetkin is t-a-i-l-e-r-m-a-d-e for Bowe.

Povetkin would get obliterated. He isn't half the fighting machine Holyfield was. In fact there hasn't been a HW that good since that version of Holyfield. Prime Holy is as good as it gets.
He gave Bowe troublewith lighting fast straight shots through the middle. When he traded hooks with Bowe , he took a battering.

Thats all Povektin has. He comes in dipped at the waist , leading with hooks. Its the same pattern over and over.
He'd feed into all of Bowe's strenghts and be torn apart. Completely uncompetitive.

Thats not a knock on Povetkin , he's good for today , but todays era in the worst in history.
