Floyd is better than all of those guys.

You're delusional if you think Khan can outbox Floyd.

Yeah so what if he is.

Still makes a good case for why it'd be an interesting match up.

Devon Alexander would have straight schooled Ortiz, Guerrero (maybe), and he did school Maidana.

Khan blew him out of the water.

This is why itd be an interesting fight.

How will Mayweather deal with the reach. How will he deal with the speed.

Khan will lose many fights against power punchers but clearly Mayweather is not one.

Floyd is a better pure boxer than Khan.

It's a myth that Khan has the advantage in reach. Floyd actually has the longer reach.

You need more than speed to beat Floyd.

Devon, Collazo and Diaz have never KO'd or come close to KOing a top fighter.

Floyd hurt Miguel in the 12th.
    Floyd dropped Marquez.
    Floyd busted up Guerrero's face.
    Floyd KO'd Hatton.
Floyd KO'd Ortiz. I know it was a BS KO but he still KO'd him.
Floyd had Mosley afraid to throw for the last few rounds.

I don't like Floyd that much but......
He has enough pop to KO Khan:deal

Notice how people keep parroting that Khan has the reach and height to trouble Floyd.

Khan is taller than Floyd by an inch, AT MOST. I doubt it'll make any significant difference.

Like I said in my previous post, Floyd is the one with the longer reach.

And Khan actually thinks he's some huge draw. :rofl

Dude Khan has a good reach and speed. Just like Zab Judah. And we saw how Judah troubled Mayweather.

Khan has many of the attributes that would trouble Mayweather.

Khans weakness is a weak chin. A weakness that I believe Mayweather will not be able to take advantage of.

This is why its a good fight. Not saying he would definitely win but it would definitely be interesting.

I don't know why you're just clinging to this concept that Mayweather is the best boxer hence he can't be outboxed. Its not really that simple. Khans piston jab and right hand will be a problem for mayweather regardless of his defense.

How can you say that a fight with Khan is somehow worse than one with garbage ass Maidana.

Khan isn't going to outbox Floyd.

What happens when Floyd takes away Khan's speed with timing?

I've also heard people say Khan has the power to beat Floyd. Khan's power is decent, at best.

Khan's jab is decent, nothing more. It's not anywhere near the level of a De La Hoya or Floyd's (when he uses it). I would even say Brook has a better jab than Khan.

    who hasn't dropped Marquez :yep

Plus Mayweather came in overweight and dwarfed Marquez. Landed at will and still couldn't stop him. All he could do is one knock down.

    Guerrero was fine

Hatton got KO'd due to getting beat up not getting caught with one shot

If Mayweather can beat Khan up like that then he'll definitely get the KO but I'm saying that he will not be able to do that.

Mosley wasn't even slightly hurt in that fight.

Floyd sucker punched him while he was talking and he barely flinched.

And Ortiz quit. He wasn't even KOd. He just quit. Like he did time and time again.

Mayweather doesn't have the one punch power at Welter to surprise KO khan.

As a matter of fact, I'd go as far to say that Khan is more durable at Welter so he'll be more difficult to blast out than before.

Khan only looks more durable because he's only fought feather-fisted fighters so far.

You don't need to KO Khan to beat him.

Dude you're saying others are parroting responses but thats exactly what you're doing.

You just keep saying that Floyd would outbox Khan and that Khan aint that good of a boxer not really giving any concrete reasons to counter what I said.

I'm hardly even a Khan fan but I really think hes got the tools to beat Mayweather and I've thought that for a long time.

I think Khan gets beat by plenty of people btw.

Who would you favor to win?

All Khan has is speed. I already said his jab is only decent.

Firstly, is floyd willing to throw with Khan like Garcia did? I don't think so he goes into a defensive stance. I don't think there is anybody BETTER than Khan at stealing rounds, he is the best out there at the moment. At this time of Floyds career I don't think he has the ability to out point Khan because the handspeed and combinations will continually have Floyd behind on the cards. Khans control of range is second to none and comparable to Floyd, but Khans footspeed is much better than Floyds at the moment. The only area Floyd excels in comparison to Khan is boxing IQ but if your body can't do what your mind wants then its useless. There is a reason why Floyd Snr and Roger mayweather both believe Khan is the much harder fight for Floyd than Manny.
