Who has the better chin, Amir Khan or Sergey Kovalev?

    Even Ray Charles could see that these two men don't exactly have the sturdiest in the sport, in fact, it's potentially two of the worst at world championship level.

    Kovalev has been knocked down twice, once by Darnell Boone and the other by Caparello.

    We also know that he has been knocked spark out by Attoev in the amateurs with headgear on.

    On the other hand, Khan has been knocked down multipe times in the pros and knocked out twice in the pro ranks.

    Well we don't what caused the knock down against Boone but he got up from it something Adonis couldn't do, and Boone dropped Ward so no big deal.
    Stop it MVC you know the Caparello knock down was BS.

    As far as Atoev goes he's an incredibly hard hitter who KO a Heavyweight in Constantine Bejanaru. and beat Falcao and Beterbiev if he turned pro he'd be another beast from the east I'd do a thread on.

    Maidana is overrated but his power isn't.

    The guy can punch.

    But that doesn't mean **** about Khans chin.

    Khan's chin isn't very good :lol:

    my money would be on Kovalev's chin being better because I don't think you can have a chin much worse than Khans :lol:

    As a pro Sergeys chin has proved to be iron so far can't say the same for Khan

    Maidana has never KO'd a top opponent, and he had Khan on the verge of a KO for the last 3 rounds of their match if Maidana had caught him earlier with the shot the staggered him, he would have been able to stop Khan but he couldn't because he was fatigued and his power drops off late in fights like a lot of fighters.

    MVC! Please explain for us...

    In your opinion you believe kovalev to have a weak chin because he has been knocked down in the pros and was supposedly knocked out in the amateurs.

    The EXACT same thing has happened to wilder but you believe him to have an iron jaw...

    Why is this? :huh

    Wilder is battle tested and was punched many times flush by Stiverne and wasn't phased. Stiverne is someone with massive power who put Arreola out! :admin

    He's also been hit many times before that.

    Kovalev hasn't been battle tested and from the evidence we're given in regards to his chin, we can deduce without much doubt that his chin is quite fragile.
