That's an understatement. Marquez has gone on record in recent years saying Pacquiao is faster and a harder puncher. Interestingly, 4 years ago, he said Pacquiao would have lost to Mayweather. A month ago, he's changed his mind to 50/50. I actually agree with him.

He has underrated power when he sits on his punches. Best defense of course. The two things that make him who he is, is the mastery of the philly shell defense and his reaction time. However, he can't use the philly shell against Pacquiao and his reaction time has seemed to slip, especially when watching Maidana. Not much, but maybe just enough to where he is easier to hit.

Strange because Maidana was able to see and land on him pretty well. So successful in fact that he become the #1 fighter for MOST LANDED punches EVER against Floyd Mayweather. I think this may be signs of age on Floyd. He even said himself after his most recent fight that he's getting hit with punches he shouldn't get hit with, that a prime-like Mayweather would never get hit with. Keep in mind Maidana is a C+ fighter, a slow puncher, and was able to HURT Floyd in both fights.

I watched the fights recently and what I noticed was he isn't using his legs as much- even in the second fight. Normally, when someone wins at him, he doesn't just lean away, he JUMPS away. He uses his legs. In the two fights though, he couldn't get away. He ended up only leaning rather than jumping out of his opponent's range, causing him to get hit more.

This is Timothy Bradley you're talking about. The dude was plastered with Ruslan Provodnikov's shot OVER 12 ROUNDS, just blatant, should knock him out shots, and at the end of his the fight... his face was just a little swollen!!! Heck, his face was just as swollen after the 2nd fight with Pacquiao as it was with Ruslan! The dude is the most durable guy in boxing, no doubt.

Plus, you talk Pacquiao doesn't mark up his opponent...let's look at Mayweather's. Pull Pacquiao's last 5 opponents with Mayweather's and compare them side by side. Mayweather has trouble with power now due to his hand issues. He's hurt his hand and had to go to the hospital for it the past 3 fights, reason why he uses orthopadding. I still think he could stun Pacquiao if he sat down on his punches, maybe even hurt him..but Mayweather doesn't like to sit and exchange.

He doesn't mark up easy?? He's known for not swelling. Some fighters swell easier than others. Ruslan swells easy. Bradley, Pacquiao, and Mayweather are known for not swelling easy. I can't even remember a fight where Pacquiao's face was swollen. The only time his face gets damaged is if he gets clipped with a head butt, and the only time a head butt has ever caused him a problem was with Morales and dirty Sanchez.

Those lead right pot shots are going to countered with a straight left. Pacquiao's the only opponent Floyd has ever faced that will be fast and powerful enough to successfully counter his righthand.

There's so many inconsistencies in your post, but i can agree to disagree. We will just have to wait till they get in the ring.
