    Who takes it?

I'd bet on Rocky despite Povetkin's height and weight advantages.

What makes me believe that Rocky wins this is how he managed to knock out some extremely skilled boxers with reach and height advantage (though most of them were past prime).

And i think this Povetkin beat a faded 39 years old glass-chinned Rahman...
At least Marciano destroyed an ATG who maybe the greatest
fighter ever. Joe Louis was 37 years old against Marciano this
win is better than Povetkin's **** Rahman win.
Joe Louis wasn't skinny against Marciano.Check Deontay out
    against Stiverne he was skinny.

What does any of this even mean?

No, Louis wasn't skinny. He was pudgy, bald and most importantly… shot. He had no right hand. He admitted it. Observers were saying the same thing for several fights before. He was fighting to pay off Uncle Sam.

How does Marciano's performance against a thoroughly shot former great have any relevance on how he would perform against a prime Povetkin?

Marciano was a better fighter, but Povetkin (as much as I hate to admit it) being pro American, Russians arnt my cup of tea:shock:, would beat the rock...

If Marciano were fighting today, he would be a cruiserweight:nut, it's asking to MUCH for him to beat a legitimate 235lb heavyweight...:-(

Never weighed above 193 in a pro fight. At his best at 185-187. Lilliputian reach of 67", simply unheard of at the championship level of developed modern heavyweight boxing.
Ended his illustrious career with a 4-3 record. Did Rocky derail a superstar-to-be?
KO'd 5 times before Rocky and 4 times after by light heavies and heavies alike.

3-7-1 coming into this fight. Bestill my beating heart.

4-5 coming into the fight. A true comer.

6'2" 214lb Joe Louis - KO 8 (knocked through the ropes, put into the hospital and retirement)

Actually was 189 pounds but what's 40 pounds between friends? Still awaiting that phone call from the Hall of Fame.

    220 - 189 = 40?

I do agree with seamus tho, rocky doesn't have the style, or size to wear povetkin out or outpoint him (would need 1 of the 2) and povetkin is a pretty heavy puncher with decent delivery, and a good chin. he is not the tub of mayonaise he was earlier in his career either, i might have picked rocky over that version.
