Damn, I only saw a few pics and couldn't stand to see the rest. It's heart breaking, but the legend of Kronk will never die.

The legacy currently lives on through:

    Klitschko
    Banks
    Stevenson
    Lee
    Tony Harrison (http://boxrec.com//list_bouts.php?human_id=574588&cat=boxer)
    Leandre White (http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=595350&cat=boxer)
    Anthony Barnes (http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=626817&cat=boxer)
Domonique Dolton (about to participate in the Jose Sulaiman Cup tourney with the WBC 154lb mandatory at stake in the finals)
John "Action" Jackson (not to be confused with the other John Jackson - son of Julian Jackson - currently in his weight range)

Except for Klitschko, Stevenson and Lee they're all from the Detroit area. Most of them rock the Kronk gold in the ring. Javan Hill trains several.

Dolton, Barnes, White and Harrison are undefeated. Jackson has a few stumbles in the pros, currently 16-3-1 (13), but had amateur victories over Brandon Rios and Willie Nelson. Steward was particularly high on Harrison and thought he was the "next Hearns". (though Manny was prone to hyperbolic rhetoric about his fighters)

A look at the "last generation" to come through Kronk:

(omitting Klitschko and Stevenson, who are both pushing 40, as well as Banks & Lee, both over 30 - although three of the four are currently world champs they are winding down in their careers whereas the rest of these kids are the "future" of the Kronk look and style...and will be the last ones to carry them on that worked directly under Steward himself, though Johnathan Banks and Javan Hill may continue to utilize his methods and may even resurrect the brand name of the gym someday)

    Anthony Barnes:

    • [yt]F3PZqS3VqQM[/yt]
    • [yt]__67CXYsKW8[/yt]

Leandre White (southpaw, red trunks w/ gold trim):

    • [yt]hPlf9vEPlrY[/yt]

    Domonique Dolton:

    • [yt]zGEgE8IymRc[/yt]

    John Jackson:

    • [yt]X1dEcZNMrd8[/yt]

Tony Harrison (said by insiders - and the late Steward himself - to be the best of the bunch)

    • [yt]OuvTmatAmjc[/yt]

White vs. Harrison at the Detroit Metropolitan Golden Gloves in 2011 (White in the blue headgear):

    • [yt]y1nYioNnIAY[/yt]
    • [yt]mUtIo5DolUI[/yt]

    Dolton sparring with Max Bursak:

    • [yt]wL5tBZ2oRR8[/yt]

No way. That can't be real. Steward hasn't been gone so long for it to become a wasteland.

Those pics are of the original rec center. Closed in '06. But the newer one on ****** ave is abandoned now to. That place closed freakishly soon after steward died.
