Good fight for Whyte after three warm-up fights since October.

How far do you think he will go this year? Is he already capable of mixing it with the likes of Teper, Szpilka and Pianeta?

He's back in the ring on Febraury 7th against Nascimento who should give him a few rounds and allow us to see Whyte's boxing abilities a bit more.

I'll be there to see it. Was there for his first fight back and I wasn't really impressed. But, it was his first fight back so rustiness is expected.

I mean, it is still really a can he is fighting if we're honest but it's more about how he looks during the win. I wish him well as he's an honest guy but I don't see him really getting to world level. Maybe European. Would love to be proved wrong though

Should be a good yard stick seeing as Eddie Chambers went the rounds with Nascimento.

Not a bad opponent at all. Top end journeyman level, which is about right for a 4th fight after a break. If he can despatch him we know he can kick on to the next level, if he can't then we know he'll struggle when he steps up in class.

Good fight for Whyte . Nasciemento has only been stopped by Tyson Fury 5th round ,Solomon Haumano 3rd round, Manuel Charr 8th round , and Joseph Parker 7th round , all very good level fighters.

Nasciemento can be awkward and recently went the distance with Eddie Chambers and also has power knocking out 15 of his 17 wins.

Does anyone know if this is being televised ?

I don't know for sure, but I suspect it might be on Fight Pass

Whyte said in an interview with IFL TV that he's staying independent for now and will look to sign with a promoter later this year, maybe in the summer. Think he wants to keep his options open and fight as often as possible atm. Would be surprised if Frank wasn't interested though.

Frank would love to build that rivalry with Joshua. Whyte could be a very good heavyweight, strong, can punch, move and I believe takes a shot, he's done well with Klitschko in sparring. He does look a little awkward though, quite stiff but as long as he really wants it he will beat a lot of top fighters.

Very interesting addition to the ranks. Good to see him being active after such a layoff. I just hope this fight happens as it looks a good bridge between levels. Theres plenty of fighters for him to fight if successful. Might seem a bit ambitious, but Id like him to get to the level that he's fighting maybe Ustinov by the end of the year.

Whyte right now is the best prospect not names Anthony Joshua, Hughie Fury or Oscar Rivas. Those 3 are on a different level to others
