that is one lame ass resume. the only reason you clowns won't admit it, you are brit****s trying to make fury into something he isn;t. that being a dangerous hw.
Could stoppage but probably not Fury's best performance. I think Cunningham should beat Glazkov who is pretty slow and one dimensional at that level.
I'm not British and I don't think Fury is a very good heavyweight. Just stating facts. Cunningham and sought out the best possible fights in his brief time at heavy.
I wouldn't say it was his best performance but his best win. He came off the canvas, on the road against a quality fighter. He looked poor in this fight skills wise.
how on earth are those the best fights? adamek was shot. mansour is a forty something who has never beat anyone wilder wouldn't laugh about.
Maybe the reason he "mauled" Cunningham was because he was 50lbs heavier and 6 inches taller. And Cunningham didnt have the power to keep him away. Ive said the same thing about Cunningham for a while. Hes a top class fighter but too small to compete with the real giants of the HW division. Hes the same size as Haye, but Haye had HW power, Cunningham doesnt
That's where you prove to be an idiot. He has an iron jaw at Cruiserweight, this was his third fight at Heavyweight.
A very good victory indeed, and Cunningham gave Fury all the credit for it, instead of whining like a little ***** like haters here do for some boxers but not for other ones. Cunningham eyes were all swelled, it was only a matter of time Fury stopped him.
considering he pretty much held him down with one hand and pounded him with the other i thought he was lucky not to get dq'd
Fury had to foul Cunningham to win after getting dropped :roflatsch I have never seen so many forearms, elbows, grabbing, wrestling and clinching by a guy who had every single advantage in the fight. And it still took Fury 7 rounds.
His chin was never "iron" at CW, either. It was good, and his recuperative abilities were solid as he never got stopped at the weight - but this is revisionism to say it was iron, when it probably wasn't even "very good". Down against Ross. Down thrice against Adamek. Down once in Hernandez I, and twice in Hernandez II. Down once in Wlodarczyk II (but it was incorrectly ruled a slip) Down once against Awinongya. Stunned early numerous times by right hands against Huck before making his adjustments. Rocked by Jones repeatedly. Hurt by O'Neil Bell in sparring. ...and that's all down at CW. Since the Fury loss, at HW, down twice against Mansour and once against Visinia. Excellent boxer and mentally tough, resilient guy - but his chin was, at best, "a little better than average" - down at cruiser.
