You have got to be kidding. Sultan has not a good victory to his name.

Briggs was bogged down with asthma and was in the worst shape of his entire career with he fought Sultan. He was up around 270 and was like a buddha , stumped around the ring throwing about two punches every minute. And Sultanan himself wasn't even that much more active than him:tired.

Tommy Morrison proved his potential against ATG Foreman. Sultan didn't prove he had any with his pathetic display against Wlad.
Tommy had the greater potential and was a better boxer than Sultan and that would show pitching the two best versions against each other.
Sultan never met an animal like Tommy ever and was never in any sort of fight and nowhere close to the the wars Morrison battled through to get the win. He could well go over with the first hook landed on his chin. The lumbering oaf Austin had him in trouble every time he opened up.

Ibragimov via TKO. Sultan had fast feet, fast hands, hit hard, took a solid punch, and could target the head or body equally well. I felt he was better than Povektin or Chagaev, at least in terms of god given talent.

    But he retired young.

Did I , or did I not tell you the bet was off the table? I did, so stfu.

If im trolling Wlad , then all the rest of the usual suspects are trolling boxers from previous era's.

I suspected you would bring that up.

As usual is all one way traffic for guys on Wlads record. Everything these guys do good pitched against everything the other guy does bad.

Iggy would be a nobody today had he not lost every round to Wlad.

Fast?? And Tommy was slow:huh Duke was one of the fastest HW's of the 90's. The 90's being a much , much deeper talent pool than the 00's

Who did Sultan ever put away? What fighter of any worth did he stop?

Foreman said he would never fight Morrison again after he hit him with blows that would have knocked out a horse.
He said that after he became champ and a rematch was being discussed.

Iggy is a nobody. Toney beat Holyfield a 100 times worse than he managed. Does Toney stop Morrison too:roll:

When was Iggy ever sparked out like that? When was Iggy ever so uncomposed, uncoordinated and lacking in ring sense?

And what the fuuck does Waldo have to do with any of this?

I suppose it could go either way. But frankly I was never impressed with Ibragimov. Morrison had his shortcomings and in truth is probably a little overrated today. But he was at least fun to watch and had punching power that can't be questioned. I remember watching Iggy against Wlad, Holyfield, and Briggs and frankly I don't think my heart rate ever rose once.

Morrison didn't prepare for that fight. It was pushed on him only 4 weeks after his last fight. He wasn't interested.
He took his eye off the ball and paid the price.

Brentt wasn't the best guy he fought. He showed his full potential in other fights against better opposition.

If Iggy fought Tommy's resume ,he would have been sparked out more times than The Duke was.
Iggy wasn't a fighter. He couldn't handle the one punch an obese Briggs threw at him every round and when he took a physically undamaging loss he threw in the towel.

Morrison fought to within an inch of his life. Took broken hands and broken jaws and still fought his ass off.
You're telling me this guy Iggy , who never proved anything , just comes along and wins all day everyday?

And yet Ruddock is a good win for Lewis:patsch

Also Tommy was shutting Mercer out far easier than Lewis was before he got taken out.
