Wlad hides his glass jaw. Norton and Frazier didn't. They stuck it out in the middle of the ring for everyone to shatter who wasn't a total scrub.

Wlad would have hard time landing on Spinks.

Spinks way quicker than Wlad.He would outhustle Wlad down Stretch with combinations.Keep in mind that Spinks was tall himself.

Spinks woul do a better job than Haye

I agree. People see Klitschko hitting these slow-motion heavyweights of today and assume he would be successful against everyone. There is a good possibility that Klitschko could land a heavy shot and take Spinks out but Spinks would give him a fit before that happened. Spinks did very well against Coo ney.

That version of Gerry literally was drunk and doing cocaine in his hotel room the night before the fight. 1981-1982 Gerry ****ey sends Spinks away from the ring in a body bag and so does Wlad.

Spinks would simply be outgunned by Wlad in that fight. He wouldn't be able to land anything meaningful.

I am not taking anything away from Spinks he had guts and moved up and fought THE champion unlike Roy Jones who elected for the weakest beltholder at the time. I can't really take anyone serious who tries to use the 1987 version of Gerry ****ey to try and convince me he would do the same to Wlad they are totally different fighters style wise anyway. May I ask how old you are? Were you even alive or watching Boxing when Spinks was a Heavyweight? Look at his Heavyweight resume and tell me what gives you the idea he would be able to hang in there with Klitschko.

I am 66 and watched Ray Robinson fight live on Friday night fights. I also fought in Detroit Golden Gloves for four years and had a couple of amateur fights in the military. Don't try to demean someone simply because they have a different opinion than you. It makes you look small.

It isn't your opinions but the fact that you tried to use Gerry ****ey as a comparison to Klitschko. They are nothing alike in how they fought/fight.

Aren't they about the same size? Coo ney is actually rated a harder puncher than Klitschko. I used Coo ney with respect to the size argument a lot of you guys like to use on here to say that the argument that Spinks is simply too small is not necessarily true.

I never once mentioned Spinks size. I mentioned his Heavyweight resume. Gerry and Wlad fight nothing alike furthermore the Gerry that fought Spinks hadn't had a fight in 2 years and was an alcoholic and drug addict (like many of the 80's Heavyweights were)

I don't think with Wlad's Jab and savage power Spinks would be able to do to much but run around the ring. To me it is an awful style match up for Spinks who relied on getting in and throwing combinations then getting out when he was at Heavyweight.

    Spinks also had bad knees.

    Spinks/****ey was a sideshow.

Spinks wanted no part of Tucker, so a messed up ****ey was brought in after boxing one round in the previous two years to give him a name fighter to beat on.
