He was severely overrated when he jumped up weight classes and is now severely underrated when he lost to Maidana.

For the haters, everything he did from 130-147 didn't count. He lost to De-Leon, was frankly too big for everyone and shouldn't have won a belt at those weight classes, plus they didn't count because again, he was too big for his opponents.. :huh They believe he got exposed by Maidana at 147 and that makes Broner a bum. They believe Broner will never amount to anything now despite being a 3 time champ over 4 weight classes.

For the **** riders, he's the most exciting guy in boxing. The youngest to win 3 belts from 130-147. A bad man, would give Mayweather a beating and anyone at 140. Future p4p number 1.

Now in between. Broner is/was a world class boxer. Had exceptional speed and power throughout the lighter weights. Him and his management wanted to make history and bring his name to 147 where he would be the heir apparent to Floyd Mayweather and make them a lot of money, which clearly wasn't the case. He even fed into his own hype his managers were giving him and thought Maidana would be a cake walk, and we all know how that turned out. On paper, his accomplishments are very good. However, most(me included) think his lifestyle outside of the ring is too destructive. Maybe he lost passion in boxing, maybe not.. but he's putting on serious weight inbetween training camps and partying too much with rappers. Last I saw him he was at least 180. If he dedicates his life to boxing again and takes training and his diet seriously, then he can be considered world class and maybe even pick up a belt at 140.

He's a B grade boxer at best. He got beaten like a child by a not so good boxer like Maidana.

Broner tries too hard to be Floyd in and out of the ring, but he doesnt come close to his skill. He's like a cheap knock off.

Fair point, but bad eating habits will catch up with him later on in his career, 140 is good right now, maybe 147 but he has a glass jaw and can't take the power.

He doesn't have the work ethic to be great. Good natural ability for certain things but he's lazy and already thinks he's great because he's been coddled and told that he's great. He has the wrong people around him and he hasn't improved his game at all.

    :happy
    Thank you:good
Look Broner took a beat down from Maidana and never quit. He jumped up and stole ( sound like FLOYD :D) the belt from PAULIE.

Yes he has big mouth but he brings excitement and fans to the sport. He is sort of the Ric Flair of boxing. He will beat John JR. but it will be an exciting fight.....BET:smoke

Thanks for saying all I am too lazy to type:good
BRONER brings heat inside and outside the ring which is at times just as good and bad for the sport.

He has skills and I love the way he makes people hate him:lol::rofl

Algieri would school guys like ponce de leon. Broner has too much hype in him and joyboys tend to overrate him just because he copies floyd and is signed with haymon.

Broner is an incredibly durable, stupid, strong, talented, pig headed young man. The key is to understand that he is borderline re****ed and treat him as a boxer purely, without getting distracted by his rectal ambushes of those opponents unfortunate enough to have him behind them.
