How would you rate this fight and do you think it's a possibility in the future?

Maidana is the better boxer of the two. Rios has a better chin, hard to gauge his power at 147. He's only fought Pacquiao, Chavez, and Alvarado at 147. He barely landed on Pac and Alvarado is done. Chavez was beating him until the disqualification. Maidana has 3 KOs at welter and gave the current best boxer a tough outing. Could go either way but I favor Maidana like 70-30, or 65-45.

Rios wins by KO, Maidana would be dragged into a war with Brandon and Brandon's chin would hold up but Marcos' body wouldn't the body shots would tear him apart, people tend to forget Khan and Lopez dropped Marcos he's not impossible to hurt Rios on the other hand I'm not sure if can be hurt.

Alvarado clearly hurt him in the second fight. I'm guessing you missed that. Brandon even admitted he was stunned badly.

That's the thing, I don't trust Maidana's ability to take a punch. We already know Rios can.

He didn't go down though whereas Marcos did. I like Marcos a lot but I think Brandon would hurt him far worse than Khan,, Soto Karass or Lopez did and they hurt him.

But you said it's impossible for him to get hurt, Alvarado clearly hurt him BAD. Maidana hits a lot harder than Alvarado too since he's a much better WW, I don't think Rios has much power at 147, he hasn't proven it yet. We'll see if his power is the real deal in the next couple fights.
