Ive guess you heard is fighting billi godoy from argentina. So two of his opponenets pulled out and now he's fighting this guy. werent he meant to fight Sergey Khomitsky who is a good fighter, lee sherrington and then heiland who is very dangerous, They all got injured or whats going on. Because now adam etches is fighting khomitsky. :?
Didnt Godoy decision Heiland a while bacK? Etches v Khomitsky be a good yardstick to judge where Nick Blackwell is at in his development....Nick impressed me against Khomitsky - did much better than Murray did against Khomitsky. Wouldve stopped him IMO if fight was longer.
Heiland was the original one that they wanted but was never confirmed, they then got Khomitsky who for whatever reason pulled out and so did Sherrington but Godoy is probably better than certainly Sherrington and probably Khomitsky too.
I reckoned Khomitsy would have beaten Ryder - and I am not alone saying that. If Godoy is 'better that Khomitsky' - (Im not saying he is, but if he is)....its NOT necessarily a good fight for John. Certainly not a guaranteed win for Ryder if the guy is even level with Khomitsky.
I'd like to see etches & Ryder come through there fights & then surely they'll be mandatory for BJS title,which he'll be vacating I'd imagine.. Be good to see those two in there together. Really excited by etches,every time I've seen him he seems mature & does the basics very well - and can whack! Can't forget Blackwell in the mix too! He's had some tough fights early on,good to see him being managed / advised in a proper way.
Blackwell is mandatory for british title confirmed by the board agreement in place waiting for a date. Cant see it happening tho bjs will vacate
