Chacon was an avoided fighter as you know. Chacon was a big left hooker who was punching people out the ring and there was no line or sequence of fighters queuing up to face him. Funny you mention Naz he was offered Chacon for the WBO, but he fought Calvo who wasn't as dangerous. Scott dominated Chacon from start to finish in a tremendous performance.

As for the Walsh fight you told me hee haw!

you were told alright and moog lost his bet also.
Chacon beat ko ko kovacs then polo then Scott beat him, he was getting schooled by kovacs when he stopped him and it was a very very tight fight against polo, I remember Scott thought polo won the fight, so we're did chacon punch guys out the ring or are we talking more ****

Ryan I'm going to correct you again, Scott won the interim title and became mandatory for Chacon, chacon boxed polo in a voluntary then the winner needed to fight Scott, so you myth that Chacon was offered to Naz is not correct

No, no, no , Billy :nono

Naz could have fought Chacon, but he went on to fight Calvo. Victor Polo faced Chacon instead. Scott didn't win his WBO interim title till after both Chacon-Polo and Naz-Calvo fights. It's ok I don't want an apology :good
As for Chacon destroying people after he stopped Kovacs on his own patch, he KO'd another boy in a title fight. He's got some other nice KO's on youtube you should checkout and refresh your memory.

Dodged Nicky Cook lol, if Scott was not in the nick in build up to fight he would have flattened Cook in 2 rounds lol. Prime Cook a couple of levels of someone like Brodie or McCullough in their day

Glagow has loads of venues mate. If looking at a smallish venue Kelvin Hall hold 2000, the Hydro 12,000, SECC as you mention 10,000, the Emirates 7000, Braehead 6000. If people look at Edinburgh not much there to hold a boxing match tbh, though Aberdeen has a big indoor arena not sure of capacity.

just thinking of fighters like simmons brophy limond etc dont think they would sell out hydro or that but if u put them on at braehead 6000 with mayb joshua and say crolla that would sell easy hearn could easily do 3 or 4 these types of shows but swap his english fighters about like campbell etc

Cook was every bit as good as Brodie in there prime, he beat Alex Arthur top fighter, Brodie never beat a world class fighter on paper although he was robbed once

scott won the interim coz chacon broke his arm Ryan and automatically became mandatory so chacon couldn't of fought Naz so your wrong my friend, it was arranged that Scott fought the winner of chacon v polo before that fight was made

Alex Arthur was never world class reminds me of Kevin Mitchell as looked good enough for world titles but when he made the step up was not good enough, and in my eyes was never a true world champ as never won a world title in the ring. Cook would never have went 12 rounds against a Chi and got a draw in a war boy would have folded inside 6 rounds

Would Scott have gone the distance with chi moog coz he wouldn't have had his huge size advantage over him
If Scott were in his prime today he simply would be a FW especially fighting for the IBF he'd never make the weight next day, entering the ring 21-25 lbs heavier than official weight is were Scott had a major advantAge
Although ultimately IMO making the weight in the manner he did impacted in the issues he later had, nevertheless great times and a great fighter

I agree with the weight issue, Id also argue Scott had to work so hard to get down to weight, he became a less accomplished boxer, and traded sole on his strength laterly. Scott early in his career, was a tremendously talented boxer.
