No as Scott would have stopped him late imo. Both had amazing strength, but Scott had something Chi never and that was a world class boxing brain and footwork. Bit like Porter v Brook, were Porter met someone as strong as him difference that person has better skills and footwork. Would have been a great competitive fight, but i think Scotts skills would have told late on.

Wouldn't say solely but agree he did use a lot of his skills less, but difference with most he still had those skills if he needed to. Hindsight is a great thing but i wish after the greats dodged him that after Mendina 2 he moved up to SFW, and he properly regrets it, but not many British boxers have walked away from there world title and moved up, but as i said wish he did. Think he would have been even better at SFW

After Chacon beat Kovacs both Barrera and Naz could have fought Chacon. Barrera was Chacon's no.1 contender, but he went on to fight Enrique Sanchez in a non-title fight. Naz was the next in line with WBO, but he'd just been beat off Barrera in his last fight and didn't fancy it.
As for Chacon-Polo winner already arranged for Scott? Scott had just beating Robinson and hadn't even fought the big Aussie Tony Wehbee by that stage. I remember the talk in the build up was if Scott beat Wehbee he was going to fight for the Euro title next. I know after that they mentioned they were going to make the Chacon fight.

You don't like being told, Billy.
Naz wasn't the same after Barrera and he couldn't destroy Calvo and he was a level below Chacon.

Sorry, but Naz was offered the chance to fight Chacon in Sheffield. That old sneaky dog Wazza even got Chacon on board because he wanted to promote Naz again. It's also mentioned on one of Scott's fights, so it's not a made up story.
I don't know how you don't know this? Are you really Billy Nelson?

Google it and you will see Ryan is right. ****** was offering business people big wagers Scott would have beat Naz, same with Barrerra. He was very confident.
