    :rofl:rofl

Who did Haye beat that was better than Holmes.

Who did he beat at Cruiser ? He lost badly to past prime 40 year old Thompson.

Who did Spinks lose against at LHW?

Haye vs Spinks that is at least a pick them fight.Spinks a slight favourite in my view.

Spoon beats Povetkin in my view.

Shavers vs Byrd. That would be a fun fight :good.

    Only on Planet Klitschko.

I don't remember Holmes getting KO'ed during/near his prime by the likes of Purrity, Sanders and Brewster. You Klit****s need to take your medication.

Klitschko has only defended the *lineal* title twice. He is nowhere near matching Holmes...

I was talking about world title defenses, not the "lineal" title.

    Are you punch drunk?

Spinks did more as a Lt HW than Haye did as a Cruiser and Spinks did more at HW than Haye did at HW. It ain't even close.

    Spinks >>> Haye.

    Stop smoking the crack...

There is no world title fight unless it involves the lineal title. The alphabet organizations trinkets are meaningless...

furthermore spinks would outhustle haye. mike was able to go up a weight or two AND twice beat an ATG.

Haye took a hw title true.... but from a minor titlist, and then fougth a series of middlers.

    You're wrong.

Wlad is recognized as having 17 title consecutive title defenses and a total of 22 title defenses overall.

Boxing publications have him as having 17 defenses and that is what counts when he gets closer to Holmes/Louis.

I would not include the WBO defenses though.

I find it hard to make a clear cut case of Larry Holmes fighting tougher opposition than Wladimir Klitschko, or the other way around. Depending if you are a fan or a hater of either boxer, you can always find arguments, of course.

With David Haye, it's hard to find many HW's where you can say for sure they'd beat him. I think he would have huge trouble with big and strong fighters, like Foreman and Lewis. But he'd be dangerous for almost anyone of his own size. Would he beat Michael Spinks? Maybe, maybe not. David has crazy reflexes and is a huge punscher, but Michael has good skill and movement himself, and Davids technique is a bit crude.

In any case I do think Wlad has been dominating more. Larry fought his guys. Wlad stomps on them. The kind of flashy KO's that belongs at HW :smoke
