The difference between mayweather and toney was toney had offense

Only the biggest d1krider would say Floyd has offense over 135

He is a hit and run artist
    A shoe shiner
    Play it safe
    Mr UD
    Single shot master

He could link a combo or power shot that hurts even if his life depended on it

An in shape Toney would give a lot of fighters hell. I don't know if he had the speed to beat Jones but it's hard to say. Against Jirov he proved to me he could have made a splash at cruiserweight. Minus any fat he probably could have fought at SMW for several years and owned that division.

Yeah Roy Jones was just a different animal, not the type of fighter you can really train for. But anyone that questions his skillset needs only look at his first fight with Mccallum, or the first fight with Barkley. Amazing what he accomplished considering he is notorious for never doing roadwork and only wanting to spar and eat
