no need for me to try, my friend, someone called joe did it for me.

Contrary to what you may have heard, I didn't ask joe to fight Ashira et co.

What the hell is this earn their shot in the states bollox you are talking?:patsch

    Dm fought Roch.

Roch fought DM, Nunn and Eubank.

    Nunn fought Roch.

    Mclellan fought Benn.

Benn fought Eubank, Mclellan and Collins.

    Collins fought Eubank and Benn.

    Calzaghe fought Eubank.

So basically all those guys on the list managed to fight other guys on the list, apart from... erm yes you guessed it, Roy Jones Jr.. who fought none of them.

    Exactly.

This is a new one from the RJJ ****riders. One that I don't even think Jones himself spoke of.

Dm was offered a fight with Roy in the states they never bothered to return calls or even nogiatiate the fight !

Eubank HIMSELF Openly admitted he wanted no parts of Jones because he was "Never mandated to "

Collins was offered 3 mil to fight Jones from HBO and turned it down !

Calzaghe fought and old Eubanks and an Old Jones he never wanted any parts of Jones in his prime !

In his prime " I would need the Crown Jewels for a fight against Jones, but I know my limits so I don't wanted to risk it "

McClelland was to fight Jones after the Benn fight guess him being in a coma after that was a duck !

I always love these debates, all the blame always falls on Jones yet it takes two to tango but we know it's all Jones fault ! GTFO :hi:

Roy vacated his belt, he wasn't stripped.

    Zod didn't discredit anything.

Roy actually made more than $3m for Hill, because he got a $500,000 bonus from HBO for a contract extension.

He made $3.5m, and there were reports that he made $4m in total revenue.

He was also given a Rolls Royce Corniche as a gift by the casino.

Not bad for a nights work.

    Evander wasn't interested.

His father pulled the plug at the last moment vs Douglas.

The Sanders fight was more dangerous than Ruiz, and he wasn't guaranteed to make the amount he'd made against Ruiz.

He wanted mega money to remain at HW.

    Who could blame him?

He was a LHW who was approaching 35.

    A KO streak against who?

    Actions speak louder than words.

Dariusz said he was willing to go to the U.S.

    He never went.

IMHO, he wasn't even bothered he was stripped.

Look who he fought after Hill.

Kohl was part of the WBO, and Dariusz fought four of Roy's leftovers, including fighting Richard Hall twice.

    His resume speaks volumes.

When Roy fought Harmon, Dariusz was quoted as saying that he wasn't interested in viewing Roy fight an opponent of that caliber. Yet he went on to fight Harmon himself just a year later.

Shot to smithereens. The ultra-sharp, ultra-slick Reggie of 1990 would've beaten the '95 Jones.

No question about it. Via brutal KO too.

I actually think Collins deserved the decision over Reggie in that foul-fested war. Parks was a big betting favourite over Reggie due to that, much like Watson was a big betting favourite over McCallum following the trouble Collins gave Mike in the second half of their fight. Fact is, Collins was underrated and still is. He was much better, or more effective, than he looked!

Reggie clearly beat Toney back then. James was 10x the fighter against Reggie J as he was against Roy J when near-death (due to losing 80-90lbs).

Via outboxing him with his excellent movement and fast southpaw style. He had far better fundamentals than Jones but could also do everything Jones could do with the backhand leads from a hands low position etc (see Collins fight, round ten!).

I thought Irish Stevie Collins won that fight too.

Via outboxing him with his excellent movement and fast southpaw style and then detonating a bomb on Roid's pitifully feeble glass jaw and laying him out on his back (out cold) like a cheap rug. :deal

Johnson dropped iron-jawed Toney, no way Roid's glass mandible is going to be able to withstand a shot like the one Johnson dropped Toney with.
