Barrera, as a Pacfan, I sorta had you pegged initially as a hater, but those two paragraphs above a credit to any boxing fan

i think he hasn't had a KO for many reasons:

    1. Early on, fighters didn't know Manny as much, they didn't respect his power. He has always had KO ability but it wasn't until after he destroyed Hatton, Cotto, De La Hoya that fighters really started to respect his power more. Ever since that devastating run, fighters have fought Pacquiao cautiously.. 'trying to survive' rather than engage him
    2. several of the fighters he has faced are defensive fighters who are elusive - Clottey, Bradley, Algieri
    3. Some of the fighters have been big - Margarito. Margarito was just too big for Pac and Pac didn't have enough power. Rios was also big and has an iron chin too.

The other fighter was Marquez but Pac did send him to canvas on that 4th fight and was probably on his way to a KO if Marquez hadn't floored him; Pac was bludgeoning JMM as fight progressed.

Lol @ Chris A iron chin

Rios was stunned multiple time by Alvarado and has been knocked down.

Its not that he's fighting iron chin guys, its that he has lost some of his fire. Its easy to see when you watch cotto vs PAC and see PAC vs Bradley. He's just a shadow of his former self, but that shadow still probably the best p4p. There's no shame in admitting to it, he has already done his part and was a honor to see him fight . Love Manny pacquiao, atg and a honorable fighter.

(Off topic, but I just watched the Manny documentary and I wasn't that impressed. I was hoping it would be more about his early life and his boxing life behind the scenes. But we got like 20 mins worth of interesting info and the rest we already knew about his road to s****om. I liked it when he pointed out where his old home used to be.)

After witnessing the horrific beatings of DLH, hatton (execution style), cotto, and margs EVERYONE has fought to survive. Even ironman clottey covered up shamelessly. When i saw brandon rios fight with fear i was shocked. Covering up and afraid to throw. I had never though i would see Shane Mosley RUN.

He never KO'd anyone above 140, Cotto was still standing and DLH quit. It's a myth.

Algieri and Margarito should've been KO's. The ref gave Algieri a long ass count.

As for Margarito, the ref was a ****ing sadist. Pacquiao kept looking towards him to stop the fight. It should've been stopped.

It is true that people are talking about KO victories, but Pacquiao's opponents have been very durable guys. No one is knocking out Rios in the first place.

Pac don't get KO's because opponents run from him or make attempts to minimise the action. Floyd dont get KO's because he runs from them or minimises the action.

Algieri's glove touched down under fire, and he was given a count, as I recall. Judgement call as to whether Algieri should have been allowed to continue, based on how far behind he was...but apparently he was able to convince the official that he was fit to go on.

He's old and fighting guys who are naturally twenty pounds bigger than him. He'd get plenty of KO's if he fought other 5'6" 140 pounders, or if he did like most other elite fighters do and cut two weight classes and fought at super featherweight. His walk around weight is 148. He trains down to 140, then eats and lifts weights until he's 146. If he wanted to he could get down to 140 then cut weight to 130 or 135. He'd have his way with everyone there.

Both Marquez and Algieri have insane recuperate power.
