You guys can never give it a rest can you? For once there are reasons to be optimistic and yet you can't even accept the fact that maybe, just maybe the only thing holding up this fight might......................*wait for it*............................

not have nothing to do with the fighters.

Fixed it for you. You're welcome. I figured this is what you meant considering we all know what an unbiased and fair-minded individual you are.

He can fake an injury or make a big deal about pac's gloves having less padding on the knuckles like what he did with maidana. Floyd still has 12 weeks to wiggle out of this. Remember that he was just cornered by pac so he has no choice but to act like he also wants this fight.

Difference is the commision deemed maidanas blue gloves suspicious. Pac would never have gloves like that in his possession! Nev-err

i think these negotiations have been dragged on and on for so long, with so many ups and downs that fans won't forgive if it's not made. 1. Boxing will lose fans, at least temporarily; they will be sick of all this 2. Pac and Floyd will suffer financially. Not that this will affect them much as they are flithy rich but i have a feeling people will lose interest in watching them fight others; i expect PPV to come down

i think they have put each other in a corner and they are forced to fight at this point. 6 years of this **** and the inability of boxing to give fans the biggest fight will be unforgiving...

Interesting that Michael Koncz has now decided to stop feeding the media with updates like many people have said. Over at the scene he is now saying "No Comment" when asked for updates on the Mayweather v Pacquiao negotiations.

was so pumped up about this fight especially when floyd and manny came face to face the other day but now the whole thing is becoming boring they should just get it signed asap and get the promotion going

I don't know why they didn't adopt this approach from the get go. Too many people were jumping on Arum and Koncz every word when in fact the reality was there were/are still issues that need to be resolved. Best thing to do is stay silent and when there is time to make an announcement only then should you talk. I much prefer Espinoza's approach of downplaying things even if people don't like to hear what he has to say. He may not build your hopes up but at least he's being straight.
