Tell you what Len, shall i post the video of the fight and lets see how many agree with your interpretation of " went out on his shield " ?

He was in reverse, and using his gloves as ear muffs from the opening bell, he went totally passive within 50 seconds of the opening bell after Golovkin stiffened him with a jab.

In fact i've yet to see any evidence of the body shot actually landing, theres nothing on video other than Golovkins glove hitting Matts elbow.

TheHoodlum was referring to Macklins last fight. (Heiland)
That would not be versus GGG, now would it?

As for the bit in pink....:nono..:hi:

Sturm became the greatest middleweight in history after the Mack controversy according to Len.

Talk about clutching at straws to big your boy up.

You made the GGG reference Len, or are you comparing the mighty Heiland to GGG ?

What is the story with Murray? He lacks any real 'passion' for boxing. The sort of engine, heart and passion we saw so often in Macklin fights is just not there in Martin Murrays dry sterile plodding conservative performances. His style is ‘safety first’ – his priority is to not get hurt. Take no chances. A lack of self-belief? Who knows? Compare Macklins performance against Sturm – he left everything in that ring that night. Not so with Murray. He could have worked harder. He could have tried harder. But he chose not to. Safety first. Don’t get hurt. Watching him you get the impression Murrays heart isn't really in it. He lacks the bit of real spark needed for ultimate success. This was obvious in his fights with Sergio, Sturm and Khomitsky. Can the leopard change his spots – at age 32? Very unlikely.

I see that Adam Smith, head of boxing at Sky tv, is calling Murray "a friend of mine" and saying he will do well against GGG.....
