Louis took a sustained beating from Schmeling over several rounds before getting stopped late in the fight.

Duran, a lightweight, got KO'ed early in a 154lb fight by one of the two or three biggest punchers P4P the sport has ever known.

    Stop smoking the Crack.

THERE ARE NO COMPARISONS TO BE DRAWN BETWEEN LOUIS, DURAN AND WLAD LOSING TO SANDERS.

Not a lot of comparisons, cisky.

    They've both been counted out.

    Wlad hasn't.

Out of shape Lewis. Lol. That shows he wasn't a true great. BTW, he wasn't out of shape. Was he out of shape against that true killer Oliver McCall as well?

Id hazard a guess that Lennox, at the very least hit as hard as Klit.

Povetkin is nowhere near as good as Tyson was.

You have a time machine to prove it ? I mean Povetkin is taller, weight more, and have bigger reach then Tyson.
A lot of guys dont want to accept that today athlete in most case are better.
And they always favoritize the old school idols they have ...
Yeah Tyson was one hell of a fighter, but he was pretty well beaten and replaced by better dogs.
Its fun also how people are saying Wlad will be KO in first round, when in his entire career was not beaten by even close to Tyson guy gauges. Also when you see Klitschko eat uppercuts?

How do you come to the conclusion that athletes are better today ? Maybe they are stronger but as far as boxing goes they have got progressively gotten worse . Wlad is the perfect example of this have you ever seen him fight on the inside or throw a proper upper cut ? Can he even fight for a full 3 rds with out clinching ?

Duran and Louis *never* lost to the likes of Purrity, Sanders and Brewster while in/near their prime.

You really ought to leave the Heroin alone...

You don't beat the best in your division for over a decade and not even be knocked down in that timeframe if you have such a weak chin especially at heavyweight. His chin is ok nor great but ok... Let the haters hate it's all they have and then the racists as well let them hate.

Even Tyson said he doesn't know who would win and hints that athletes are better now.

Even if you have some valid points from time to time but thinking Povetkin is remotely as good as Tyson makes you seem like an utter moron. Your way of reasoning is also devoid of logic. If Wlad retires (without facing Wilder) is Wilder then automatically better than him because he belongs to a newer generation?
Time alone is not enough to determine the skill of a boxer...

Ah, the mystical "Prime" Mike, the period best described as the time he didn't face men that weren't afraid of him.

Taking "Prime" Klitschko as the man who fought David Haye, and you have yourself a case of another "boring Klitschko jabfest" that ends with a KO of a much smaller opponent.
