Both are on the slide, not much but a little bit but promoters will be looking to cash out on them both.

Very interesting read. Should send this to Fat Dan and say, "shouldn't be reading this from you?" He was quick to tweet that Floyd's team weren't doing anything to make the fight and Manny's was doing all the work. But yet he's very little comment about this. Since he works for ESPN he should be the first to speak up when something shady might be going on. We all know how he likes to report on rumors anyway.

I just hope their PPV numbers drop to zero if they don't fight each other but I know that won't happen.

Rafael is not a neutral journalist though, he has his favourites and he sides with them no matter what. Some of the things he's said about rigondeaux are ridiculous coming from a supposed professional. He's like a fan boy who's managed to somehow slip through the cracks and land a job where he has an actual platform.

Overall he's pretty good but he does let his opinion sway his articles at times. As long as he keeps his reporting and blogging separate and differentiates the two, I think he's good.

My personal opinion is that Haymon only likes to match up fighters signed to him with Mayweather. I think all things considered it will be Keith Thurman.

Style wise I think Mayweather should win on points barring a big KO but I would not be surprised if Haymon rigs the judges so he has the next big cash cow.

I'm not buying **** from either of them. I'd maybe buy Mayweather-Thurman since I like them both though. Mayweather-Cotto II actually is not a bad match up, just not the one we want. Pacquiao-Khan is interesting as well. But out of principle, I won't buy any of the their fights. Replays a week later anyway.

Isn't he fighting Guerrero in March?

Is that enough time to train for a Mayweather fight on May 2nd?

Who has Thurman fought to earn a shot at Floyd? 40 year old Bundu? Old man Diaz?

It is, but you might as well point out that the writer is a Mayweather homer.

Oh **** I didn't think of that. Well there really are little options then.

Unless they get Garcia or Thurman to pull out of their fights or get Khan in.

It's all very up in the air. I really hope it's Pacquiao but I have my doubts now.
