People like to rip on him for being bad offensively, being feather fisted, etc etc.

But what they don't see is that he is so efficient offensively. I'm of the mindset that if his hands did not break almost every fight, he would have stopped many more guys even at WW.

We saw what he did with Gatti when he fought with a very offensive mindset. He annihilated him. It was utter destruction.

He's very very capable of throwing combinations, we saw it vs Mosley, Marquez, Ortiz etc. If he was just a little more willing to let his hands go, we'd see more stoppages from this man.

We saw what he did vs Mosley when he was on the offense, he was nailing him with 2 punch combinations/right leads the entire night.

 

No its not overated, He is an accurate minimalist puncher. No power and no variations, like your posts.
