Looking at his next opponent I know he is rebuilding but he needs to think about stepping it up if he is going to get to the top. I'd like to see him in with Solis, Johnson, Amir Mansour, Dillian Whyte.

If I was matching his next four after this next one it'd be Dillian Whyte or Alex Lepai then Malick Scott or Pianeta then Chisora or Johnson then somebody like Steve Cunningham or Amir Mansour.

It may sound like a tall order to some but he needs to get a move on in my opinion and there is no point wasting any more time with these sort of fights. A win over a solid contender will build his confidence a lot more. i

Really strange what's happening with Price. He's been injured of late, but before that he was showing no interest whatsoever in stepping up the opposition. They'll never admit it but the Sauerlands must be starting to wonder why they signed him.

Confidence is the biggest part of the sport and David's really looks shot to pieces.

I think Lucas Browne would be very interesting. Price can beat him but it would be a really test.

Also can somebody ban Excursioner/Bellew Bomber. The guy's painfully unfunny.

I think in 8 months time Price really should be looking at somebody like Chisora if he is serious.

Chisora would be a good fight for him. Malik Scott, Leapai and Cunningham are good match ups for him also

Plenty of good matches for him down the job center. He isn't going anywhere further than he's already got to. Great amateur, not cut out for the pro game.

Until he eradicates his demons he won't be able to say he's progressed. He needs to beat the man who scuppered his dreams. Three strikes and your out in his case.

Did anyone hear what Price had to say about his trainer situation on ringside last night? I think he said his trainer has gone to China? Is that right? And did he say who is training him now?

Price should be looking at fighting some tall HWs not much point him boxing small guys like Chisora because of who has the belts plus the Joshua fight seems like its going to happen.

get him in with Wach, Pianeta or Wawrzyk. all three would be good tests before he fights one of the top guys

Although I like him and want him to do well,I fear you could be right. Out of all the names in this discussion, the only other one I could see him tackling would be Chisora, but I wouldn't be surprised if Derek retired. Lucas Browne has been mentioned. No British heavyweight wants hm after what he did to Towers, and Dave is no different. Wont happen .
