Floyd said this **** for years.. He's his own boss. He answers to no one, others answer to him. If Floyd wants the fight, the fight happens..

HBO just publicly stated they are no impediment.

and you think just because Floyd went to speak to Pac it's proof that he really wants this fight now? lol... Floyd can't read but he's intelligent; he's been remarkably successful at building his name and making money. He understands what public perception can do and him showing up and speaking to Pac could be all a game - 'see, i want to make the fight happen guys'. He can act all 'sincere' but then he can go on his own and give everyone a hard time and make unreasonable demands or just simply refuse to agree to terms behind closed doors. He probably made Ariza go on TV and say all those silly things he said..

I still believe that Floyd is the most powerful one out of all the players here. Arum, HBO, Showtime will do whatever the f Floyd wants. I believe Arum when he says they have agreed to everything Floyd has asked for and neither HBO nor showtime will risk being the ones to stop the fight... Floyd holds the keys to the fight Gate, he just keeps it closed...

He just likes to be be in control and do whatever the f he wants to do, when he wants to do it and not be pressured to do anything, by anyone. This is Floyd.... he's truly a power hungry addict who never let's anyone tell him what to do.

btw, Roach is Cotto's trainer and Cotto has had ties to Arum as promoter recently. If mayweather were truly in side negotiations with Cotto, Arum and Roach would know by now. Cotto, has remained silent and never provided a good reason for avoiding Canelo fight, so it's interesting

Negative. Floyd could very well be his own boss, but that doesn't mean he can make the fight happen at the snap of a finger. I don't understand why people think this. He's his own boss, not HBO's, not Showtime's, not Pacquiao's, not Arum's, not Espinoza's. Get my drift?

I better be careful, I'm starting to look too much like a nut hugger.

What did Floyd do to suggest it's all an act?

The fights still got a good chance of coming off. But it definitely isn't as positive as it looked last week.
If it was a network thing, then why would the commentators be mentioning the other guys name? Both hbo and sho crews do it, those are all company men. They ask questions that they are allowed, they speak freely as long as their network allows it. Both networks want it, Pac wants it, Bob wants it, they're even saying Haymon is in. The only one we've heard any unresolved issues is coming from Floyd. Sure after he said it everyone else agreed. But yea, it's Floyd making or breaking this thing.

I've yet to hear anything from a network saying there are unresolved issues.

While they continue to lie about the fight, I'm just going to continue to travel and explore the world on my private jet. #FightNotMadeYet #Jamaica

    lying? who is?

off to #jamaica sure looks like a bad case of ducking.

The networks haven't said much of anything. And most of what people were reporting about it only being Floyd left to agree all came from Arum, and he's already been proved as lying. And the commentators are allowed to talk about other fighters.

How is being in Jamaica ducking when he personally spoke to Pacquiao at a Heat game and even went to his hotel room later? :huh

That's like saying Pacquiao being in the UK was ducking :scaredas:
