Dmitry Chudinov: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to defeat the son of one of the greats of world boxing. Everyone in Russia knows of Chris Eubank, by beating his son it will turn me into a national hero and then I can go and get the super-fights against Golovkin. Eubank talks a lot, I am a man of few words and I do all my talking in the ring and come February 28th, I will do all the talking with my fists. In my last fight I boxed in front of over 100,000 people in Russia, coming to London will have no worries for me.”

Chris Eubank Jr: “I’m glad to have met my adversary face-to-face, man-to-man, for the first time and I know what I’m up against. On paper he’s the interim world champion and the man I must beat to get the belt, but having seen him face-to-face and looked him deep in the eyes, I see a man who is up against insurmountable odds. I think for once in a fight the roles are reversed and I’m coming in the good guy and he’s coming in the bad guy, I just want my country to be behind me and I can’t wait for the day I fight in an opponents backyard. This is now all about me and getting to where I should be. I know that beating Chudinov and getting the title it will open doors for me and one of them could be a rematch Saunders.”

Promoter Frank ******: “If Chris wants the rematch with Saunders then he knows what he must do, beat Chudinov and he’ll fight the winner out of Andy Lee and Saunders in their WBO World title fight which will be a huge fight.”

I'd fancy William Joseph Saunders to beat the MW version of father of the guy he beat in his last fight, prime for prime that is. It wouldn't be easy but William Joseph's slick southpaw skills would be too much for him, IMO.

His power is fine and his stamina he can improve, he's the real deal, Eubank is a hypejob that will be brutally KO'd:scaredas: by The Night Wolf.

William Joseph Saunders is all wrong for him. A slick southpaw who had a stellar amateur career - winner of three national schoolboy titles, three junior ABAs, two NABCs and two Four Nations gold medals. Went unbeaten during his first 49 bouts at the senior level and beat the Cuban World Junior champion and Olympic silver medalist Carlos Banteux and another Olympic medalist in Anthony Ogogo (bronze). Brought back about 25 gold medals from all the tournaments he competed in and finished with an overall record of 80-6 (49 of them were internationals - only lost 3 of those).

Unbeaten as a pro - British, Commonwealth and European champion and has taken the scalps of five unbeaten fighters in his last six fights. Knocked out Olympic gold medalist James Degale in sparring and whopped the much naturally bigger Eubank Jr. who even the owner of the biggest ego in boxing history Mr. Christoper Livingston Eubank Sr. admits is better than him.

Eubank Sr: "At middleweight and super-middleweight, them all, I've looked at them... Gennady Golovkin, he beats him now.

“Him now, after 15 pro fights, I wouldn’t be able to find a way to beat him,” Eubank said of his offspring.

“Him now, he beats me at my peak. The boy is frightening. I was gentle in comparison to the spirit he has. I see [Roberto] Duran, Roy Jones Jr, in terms of hand speed, foot speed and combination punching, and I see the darkness of James Toney.”

Eubank feels his son is ready now for the world elite.

“I’ve studied all the middleweight and super-middleweights [on the scene today], I’ve looked at them all. Gennady Golvkin? He (pointing at his son) beats him now.”

"I've seen nothing like this. We are talking about the real thing personified. This is Chris Eubank new and improved.

"In him I see Duran, Roy Jones Jnr; in terms of his footspeed, handspeed and combination punching; and I see the darkness of James Toney. I wouldn't know how to beat him in my prime.

"He's 15 fights unbeaten and he he has the ability to beat me right now when I was in my prime. He's frightening."

“Christopher won’t hesitate and he is the most dangerous man in boxing today. I’ve met all the most dangerous fighters. I fought some of them. As a fighter you can sense and smell it when a person is a certain way. For Saunders and all Christopher’s future opponents the truth is ominous. They are in danger and referees have to be mindful. Christopher has been brought up in the purest form as a fighter. Eccentric, you may call it. Odd, unique, peculiar you may deem it to be. But you have seen nothing like it before.”

Saunders whooped Eubank Jr, even egomaniac Eubank Sr. admits Jr. is much better than him now than he was in his prime, therefore Saunders>>>Eubank Sr. It's irrefutable. :deal

He has the eyes of a ******, IMO. I honestly think he might be a sociopath. I really can't even begin to fathom how anyone could root for or like that little b*stard.

He's the polar opposite of his father. Sr. has bundles of charisma, Jr. has literally none at all. Even when Sr. went through his 'unlikable' phase he was infinitely more likable than Jr. Sr. has a warm friendly smile, eyes and face whereas Jr's is cold, stony and vacant and totally devoid of personality. Even his taste in attire is the complete antithesis of his fathers. And if you look closely you can see a few bits of white fluff on his jacket, Sr. would never turn up to a public appearance looking anything other than totally immaculate.
