I just look at like this look at Eubank Benn how many viewers did they pull back jn the day ? I dont know if that was on ppv but I heard somewhere up to what 18 million people watched that fight my numbers could be off on thay but I heard one of thier bouts did record breaking numbers and that was in the 90's a fight between Hatton and Mw say at Wembley in front of 50 k or more wouldn't do bigger numbers viewership wise ? Hatton being extremly popular fighting the best fighter p4p..

 

Since Jones didn't fight Rocchigiani or Nunn I can understand why you have them where you do. You don't know, even though I think there are fighters that would and did Jones a harder time then they may have.

Jones was to fight Rocchigiani in 1998, pretty sure he fought Grant on that date instead. Why it didn't happen, or why did it fall apart? I've heard two versions, so who knows.

Michalczewski was the big miss at 175, though I think blame should be put on both fighters for it not happening.

What I did say was why would someone drop a title to move up and fight for less? Which you havent answered.
Who were all of these tests and when are you referring that he should have moved up? Remember Jones was at HW before Calzaghe fought B Mitchell.
Funny thing is, if Calzaghe had of moved up he would likely have still remained undefeated, but wouldnt have won all of the SMW titles and wouldnt be what he is today, which is the greatest SMW ever
