Hypocrisy regarding Froch and Khan

Whats Frochs best win? His resume is extremely over rated considering the stages that his opponents were in. Kessler was past it the first time they fought and he lost! Second time he was coming of a 13month semi-retirement where he had only fought lower level opposition and still made it competitive with Froch. Froch lost 11-1 vs Ward was totally out classed and embarrassed. He beat Bute who was never really good in the first place, the guy had a padded record and should have been ko'd vs Andrade but got saved, Pascal just beat him easily also and not to forget the state of his foot infection. Glenn Johnson was like 43 and way past it, Arthur Abraham had his best days at 160 and couldn't really cut it at 168. Dirrell got robbed and Groves is very green and still has a long way to go to be considered a world class fighter. Taylor nearly had him out even though he was pretty much ruined by Pavlik a long time ago.

Pascal was an ok win but he is only a 4 round fighter as hopkins showed and had problems making weight at 168. The fact is he doesn't want any part of GGG, Degale or Ward 2 because they all have his number.

 

Ward will not fight Froch in the UK. Ward will only fight in his home town with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc. A fight with Froch in the UK would be huge.........................Khan is very fast, better fighter than he is given credit for..............

 

Just heard froch on talksport he's very unkeen on Hopkins , probably better off Hopkins is totally finished as a fighter right now

 

You are a **** and know nothing about boxing! FACT! Froch is universally known to have one of the best resumes in boxing, he has beat everyone but Ward and has fought every guy that was highly ranked. Kessler, Dirrell, Groves X2, AA, Bute, Taylor, Pascal are great wins. The way he beat Bute, AA, Pascal and Kessler were very good wins against guys who were not underdogs at all.

As for GGG or Degale having his number? atsch How can you have someone's number without fighting them you ****ing idiot. You know absolutely nothing about boxing! Yes Ward is superior to Froch and would beat him 9 times out of 10 but there is nothing wrong with that.

As for him not wanting any of those 3 guys, is just ridiculous! He has said he will fight GGG when he is PPV as a fight that tough and that good deserves to be PPV. Degale is a pointless fight as there is no money to be made once again. He lost to Groves and Froch beat Groves twice. Degale is a good fighter but he isn't on the same level as Froch and if Froch takes that fight then he will be expected to fight Smith then Fielding then who knows who else.

Even if he wanted to fight Ward he couldn't anyway because Ward doesn't like fighting. Yes he is elite, he is the best in the division when he is fighting, but the fact is he doesn't fight. Again no money in it and he went to USA once to fight him so why doesn't Ward return the favour like Kessler did? The fact is he wont so why should Froch go over the there again as Froch is now the number 1 guy in the divison.

 

Froch ducking Stevenson is an absolute fallacy.

Stevenson got into the mandatory spot by winning a god awful decision over Don George, at that point his best win. Why would anyone want that fight over a Kessler fight.

 

he sounded more interested in the event than the actual fight. it'd be nice to get a result as a home fan at the city ground for a change - you'll never beat the saddlers!

Also 'God awful decision' Stevenson utterly thrashed him and looked very good in the process. This was never seen as an easy fight for Froch.

 

No but you still cant claim its a duck you utter moron, he was mandatory he took his voluntary which he was entitled to and then he moved up so I would say if anything its a duck the other way around.

Froch could have taken the Stevenson fight but he took on Kessler instead for more money in a fight that looked just as hard at the time. Looking back Stevenson was most likely the harder fight but we'll never know.

Still does not excuse Froch fans talking ****.

I remember when he knocked back a then career high purse for a shot at Calzaghe because there was a rematch clause. Yet his deluded fans still try to say Calzaghe ducked him.

 

Also the Kessler fight was not a voluntary. Because Kessler won the fake WBA it was classed as a unification you spaz which can be put in front of mandatories. If there was not another title on the line he would have had to box Stevenson since he won the title in a voluntary.

Also who the **** are you calling a moron for nothing you cheeky ****er.

 

How is he an embarrassment? Cos he's been sparked a couple of times? If you get in the shower you get wet. He's been in some great fights and give it his all. If he doesn't deserve a fight with him then who does? You could say that about loads of mayweather opponents.

Agree with you too about froch he has the right to choose, don't know why people are so polarised in there views on fighters, someones either an atg or an embarrassment

 

Froch's resume is very decent.

The loss to a faded Kessler and then a win over him a few years later really hurts his legacy when he gets compared to Joe Calzaghe.

But on the whole Carl has fought the best out there, but failed at the biggest tests (excluding Bute, who at the time was considered the joint No.1 with Ward).

I've got no problem with him not fighting Degale. Carl has earned the right to tangle with whoever he likes at this stage in his career.
