LOL ...some fans take their delusional devotion for an athlete a little too far. To be honest it's hard to just offer a random ranking without an intensive comparative ****ysis of all other atg's/hofer's. Pac seems to stack up well with most, but if you can't provide a list of where you rank all of your lets say top 25 or top 50 atg's than your random ranking is effectively useless.
I have Pac at number five in my top P4P ATG's. An 8-division world champ, faced everybody bar Mayweather, ducked absolutely nobody. His resume is littered with great champs from different weight classes including Cotto, DLH, Margarito, Marquez, Barrera, Moreles, Bradley, Mosley, Hatton. In addition, I'm confident that in time his victories over Rios and Algieri will become more savoured and respected. The depth of quality on his record is astounding. There's not many fighters in history who can compete with Pac on quality of opposition. Ali and Robinson are the only two that immediately spring to mind for me.
Being the nostalgic sport that it is, it's hard for a boxer like Pacquiao to be correctly acknowledged while still active. Once he's been retired for 5+ years his stock in the history books will start to rise considerably.
