How do you see this fight going?
Does Hammer have enough pop to drop Fury at least once, maybe score a couple of 10-8 rounds?

He seems to have decent size and he's only 27. I wonder how improved he is since Wach and Bidenko losses :think

Ciocan is a typical Romanian no-hoper. Absolutely no risk for Fury, thus the reason Fury chose him.

That's what I figured! Fury is a serial ducker of men his own size.
How Hammer rated #3 by WBO is beyond me.

Fury doesn't seem to like meeting boxers close to his own size.

    Yeah thats true.

Its a good thing that Wlad is a mere dwarf in comparison to the tower of terror that is fury

The best boxer Hammer beat is Kevin Johnson and he's somehow ranked top 10 in major lists. No wonder top boxers keep ducking good opponents and fight cab drivers all the time. After beating 10 or so cab drivers and a few mediocre boxers you rank high enough to get a high paycheck fight, so why take the risk? Not unlike Jennings who beat 17 cab drivers and 2 above average opponents and he gets a shot against Wlad, or Wilder who beat 30 cab drivers and got a belt shot, and now Hammer. The ranking system seriously needs to change.

If football was like boxing, African Cup winner would keep playing World Cup final with the likes of Germany/Brazil/Argentina.

Hammer has a 58% KO rate against awful competition. Typical Fury opponent. Pointless fight.

Fury should not have any real problems with Hammer if he trains hard, but he will probably be too lazy, could have some trouble, but will win the fight...................

From what i've read, Hammer was picked solely based on ranking and availability.

They wanted a top 15 or top 10 ranked opponent, and Hammer is ranked that high by one of the organizations.

Unfortunately pretty much every other interesting opponent was busy or not fighting.

Hammer is a decent opponent, he has a chin and a punch.

And Fury would jump in a fight with Wilder or Wladimir. Let's hope one of those two will pick him.

Haymon has already forbidden Wilder to fight Fury :-(.

Let's just hope that since Wilder wants no part of Wladimir, Wladimir will choose Fury for a summer/september clash.

Wlad has no need to "pick" Fury, Fury is the WBO mandatory, it's only a matter of when they both want to get it done.

No. K2 would be all over a defense against Hammer should he beat Fury.
He is a typical Wladimir opponent and Wlad would make that fight immeadiately. This is why he will be coming to fight hard, to get the win and make the million dollar pay check.
Only pointless to somebody who has no interest in the sport.

This will be an enteraining action fight.

Look who Povekin and Pulev were fighting before Wlad . Complete non ranking nobodies.
Not Fury . He takes on risky top rankers.

    Pointless fight my ass:patsch
