Fact is though a nice bit of arguing on twitter helps big up fights which then makes more £££££

They had given up on boxing when they were disappointed with FW shows so they stopped showing boxing. Hearn has changed boxing in the UK, and I didn't say that but Matchroom is the only stable of fighters to be shown on Sky other than Khan and GGG so yeah if Hearn hadn't done what he has done, then we wouldn't see boxing on Sky

Eddie has changed British boxing for the better and love him or hate him you can't deny that. Compared to 5 or 6 years ago, boxing is getting so much more exposure for the better, some of the Friday fight nights back in the day were absolute horse ****.

When did they ever "stop showing boxing"? They largely stopped showing international boxing but you can't blame FW for that!

I believe Eddie is on record as saying that if FW had stayed at Sky he may have got half the dates with Matchroom getting the other half.

If Hearn didn't exist, it's entirely possible that they would have gone with Hatton or someone.

They have always showed some boxing but the thing is they ended their relationships with FW because of his poor shows, this lead to very little boxing being shown until Matchroom became big. It is only recently that international boxing has been stopped and that is nothing to do with FW so don't put words in my mouth, that is down to the fact of the times being wrong for UK viewing and therefore they didn't get good enough viewing figures.

Yes if Matchroom wasn't there then they may have gone with another promoter but would they have done what Hearn has done? Possibly, but I highly doubt that anyone else could have done what he has done for British boxing.

I heard Eddie Hearn had 6 won 6 and I am no fan of his. 2 stopped twice sounds about right though.

    *******s.

They stopped PPV because of Hate. That's it. Of course Eddie has saved the image of PPV with Cleverly vs. Bellew.

All the people riding on Eddie's **** weren't following boxing before he came along that's what I have noticed.

I remember 7 years ago we had Hatton, Calzaghe, Witter, Rees, Macrinelli, Haye who all had proper titles not like the site Quigg and McDonald have then you had decent British title level guys in their peak like Williams, Skelton, Harrison fighting on ITV and Khan as an upcoming prospect on ITV classic fights like Earl vs. Katsidas, Williams vs. Skelton 1, Calzaghe vs. Lacy on ITV. Great fights on regular Sky like Macklin vs. Moore yet if you listened to these idiots you would think boxing had not been on telly for 50 years until Hearn came along. Load of *******s it's the same now as it was 10 years ago when I started following boxing.

Don't let that stop Eddie Hearn nutt huggers who have only been following boxing two weeks telling you he has saved the sport though.

So Hearn has not improved British boxing? The coverage we get now through Matchroom and their fighters is by far greater than we ever got. The fighters may not be as good but that is no fault of a promoter. If he was to stop promoting you would all be gutted because you would just have to watch those god awful Queensbury shows that lack entertainment and or quality.
