No not really the ITV coverage was great. How is it any better. Still Jim Watt, Adam Smith and all the same smug ****s.

Also Eddie Hearn is just the Promoter who has a little say over match making Adam Smith is the head of programming for boxing and has been for a long time.

You are aware that they didn't start pre fight hype in the last two years. Always had that with Calzaghe, Khan and Froch fights which used to get about 5 million viewers (more than the average Sky show) so I don't get your point.

When Eddie Hearn came along they all said he was an honest promoter yet we have seen just as many if not more robberies for his fighters than we saw/see with ******.

Hearn may have put the better shows on the last 2 years but he has been given a monopoly over Sky boxing so it's hardly surprising.

Source for that claim? That they ended their relationship with FW?

According to FW, he left over not enough money going to him to be able to break even.

Thank you ice. A lot of these clowns don't realise boxing was televised before Froch-Bute. Think Eddie Hearn reinvented the sport. Him trying to goad Groves into fighting Degale was pathetic, especially when you realise that at the moment all Hearn has is Degale vs TBA at a venue to be confirmed.

I'd see why you think his reactions are strange but jumped up little parasites like fast car giving it the Barry are infuriating.

promoters are a necessary evil, but come on. it's almost certainly andre dirrell at the o2, it's definitely for a world title.

I think he's far into domestic fights, ****ing hell trying to make groves degale again ahead of them fighting the dirrells was a horrible call. Looks like it will happen though andre calling out degale there, still not sure about anthony though hes been quiet, be unreal if it was on the same card

James would have been better of travelling to the states and taking on Anthony, Not Andre.

I think James knocks Anthony out.

Not a good look to say something like this when you would get destroyed by Froch or Groves yourself. Would expect a bit more professionalism from someone in his position.

I am aware of that but it is better now than it was 10 years ago. Coverage is better now, bigger hype over smaller shows and the hype around the Wembley show was incredible! There really aren't that many robberies on sky so I dont get your point? One I remember which wasn't a robbery but a questionable decision was Rose vs Maciel? Not sure if I spelt his name correctly but there aren't too many. Hearn has improved British boxing which is the point you keep avoiding and yes of course Hatton and Calzaghe always got the amazing hype because they were the best of the best at their time but Hearn takes it to different levels and hypes the likes of Coyle who is in my opinion never gonna be a world champ but he gets a lot of fans going and getting them along to the shows anyway. At the end of the day I know I am not going to change your mind on Hearn, I like him and are grateful for what he has done for British boxing and am happier that he is the man dominating the British boxing scene.

Yeah but let them marinate a bit if they beat both dirrells and them fights were shown on Sky groves degale could be a far bigger fight, degale still hasnt even beaten anyone or fought anyone as good as groves since they first fought, let Degale get out there a bit , hardly need another fight right now between them I wouldnt be ****d with that again right now.
