Ruslan Mikhailovich Provodnikov is a 5'6 31 year old Light Welterweight with a 24-3 17 KO's record. Born in Beryozovo, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Siberia, Russia. Born to a Russian Father and a Mansi Mother he grew up eating raw meat and had to take a 10 hour train ride to the city of Ekaterinburg to train to be a boxer, he is a born and bred tough as nails hard man if there ever as one, willing to take as much punishment as humanly possible to win and bring glory to his Mansi people and homeland. Freddie found him and has to a certain extent turned him into a Siberian killing machine, that is if you stand directly in front of him, but if you give him a little bit of movement he doesn't quite know what to do. But even with all of his limitations he's basically ended Mike Alvarado as a viable fighter, had Timmy crossed eyed after nearly knocking his brains out of his head, and had The Maestro looking like Margarito (I scored it for Herrera). While he's not by any stretch a great technical fighter he is one of the most entertaining fighter's in the sport, and if Provo Matthysse gets made it'll most likely be the 2015 FOTY.
