He did what he had to do tonight but he'll never be able to compete at the highest level. Dude is a punching bag! He reminds of a slightly better Margarito...which doesnt mean much at all! Im not hating on the man im just being real. I'll take alot of fighters over him right now. I think Matthysse gets him, madiana, Crawford, Khan beats the **** out of him, just being Honest :bbb:bbb

He was actually never as terrible as Mayweather & Broner nuthuggers have pretend he's been. It was damage limitation for them when Pacquiao schooled Rios and Mayweather & Broner couldn't do the same to carbon copy Maidana.

As much as folks here love to p!ss all over this guy because he doesn't have elite skills...he has other assets that other fighters could only dream of.
    Heart
    Tenacity
    Stamina
    Chin

I can name you a lot of boxers who look better shadowboxing than in a real fight that can only dream of these attributes.

what does Floyd/Broner have to do with this?? I thought Rios sucked a long time ago! since i forgot hsi name already who box the hell out of him years ago and dude got robbed.

Rios sucks and i wouldnt pick him against most. doesnt mean he won win any fights but against top fighters hes not gonna do a damn thing

I won't disagree there, but he could pull off an upset with the right matchup. We know he isn't suddenly become some shoulder-roll-using, defensive wizard but he does do a couple things well.

lol i read your title as "rigo is still not very good at all" and though "hmm that buck guy usually dont troll"

honestly rios is what rios is, his style will always be a nightmare for a non composed experienced fighter, his style is one of the best in the amateurs because its so effective at that level. his inside game i would say is elite level there is no doubt about it but everything else falls by the wayside

he will always fail when he steps up to any elite level boxer, algieri fight interests me but id rather see algieri face crawford
