Jennings should have fought Wilder, he would have knocked Wilder out, however, a loss to Vlad will not hurt Jennings' ranking and he will still get to fight Wilder, but Wilder will do everything he can to avoid fighting Jennings. Jennings said that Wilder was a disgrace to boxing, no skills, just heard the interview.............
Actually Jennings loses his ranking with the WBC by taking the fight with Wlad. However who could blame him, it's more money and it's for more belts against the true champ. He can zoom up the rankings if he loses by winning 2 fights in a row against top 15 opposition and assuming Wilder still has belt could fight him end of 2016.
