Will Matthysse stop Provodnikov?

    This for me is even more exiting than the Maytthysse vs Garcia fight because both guys will slug it out lucas has the power to stop Ruslan

    I think he will. Of the two, Matty is the more skilled and has better power. Provo has always been overrated too me in the power dept. and is basically a one dimensional brawler/pressure fighter who has no plan B.

    Why not?

    You think ruslan has the skills like Garcia to outbox him?

    Ruslan will only fight one way and try to slug it out with the bigger puncher and get stopped like Molina.

    Tell me a fighter who tried to slug it out with lucas who survived?

    ruslan can not outbox lucas he will try to slug and get stopped or knocked out.

    To beat lucas you have to outbox him.

    I think he will. He won't take him out with one shot but he'll grind him down. Provo is very easy to hit and will take too much and the ref may intervene to save him from getting hurt.

    of course he can but Lucas's chin isn't as good as ruslan.provo will stop matty both guys will never be the same.

    Could definitely see Matthysse getting a stoppage victory here. It will all depend on how well Provo takes his shots.

    Yeh your right and 147 matthyse is a step up from the 140s provodnikov has been feasting on but iv never seen the guy even shaken.

    it will take a ****ing truck load of shots from a huge puncher like matthyse to crack that chin, its possible sure but i just dont think it will happen

    I agree, because that's the one dimension I was referring to. And if Bradley can hurt him (which he did in the middle rounds to the body), Matty can definately hurt him. I'm not completely counting Ruslan out, as he does have a punchers chance, I just think Matty will catch him first with the harder more accurate punch(s).
