Didnt get the ricksta to vegas but a wont hold it against him. Eddie loves the home advantage

Thing is Eddie would never speak like that to someone he respected. Fact is Groves is one loss away from retirement and he still think he calls all the shots. He's arrogant and deluded and I'm glad Hearn put him in his place.

I think what you've said is true but fast car is a total ***** just like his old man and would talk like to anyone he couldn't get money out of/he wasn't scared of.

Groves got ****y first and then Eddie just had him off.

What's the problem? Aren't promoters allowed to have a bit of banter?

Again Beachie how long have you been following boxing?

I was at the Joe Calzaghe vs. Mikkel Kessler fight with almost 60,000 in attendance. Froch vs. Groves was just a British grudge match of course it caught the public's imagination.

The fact is boxing isn't much different now than it was 10 years ago when I started following it.

Let's get it straight here. Eddie Hearn went after Groves first, that is what George Groves was responding to, I actually had that issue of boxing news where Eddie was slagging him off.

I actually agree with Hearn it should be 50/50 but he started the personal insults off.

Also I have seen Eddie do ring walks with his fighters including Joshua, he has stopped it now but it truly was cringe worthy. You would never see Fish Eyes do something as attention seeking as that.

20,000 is a lot of people and they could have sold 120-150k. I have been following boxing a long time, you may have been following boxing longer? I don't know? But Calzaghe, Hatton and those top guys always sold big but as I have said before Hearn has managed to build hype and sell tickets around the guys who aren't the best. 10 years ago of course they sold loads of tickets for the biggest fights I have not disputed that but would FW or any promoter sold 10-20k for someone of Tommy Coyles level or would Josh Warrington have got the crowd he did if it was for Hearn? No he is the master of creating an event and drawing the fans in, he appeals to the casuals massively but if you are a true boxing fan then you should appreciate what he does for the sport, as I do, but you don't have to like him though.

Mark my words April 25th will be a PPV show. Degale vs Dirrell, Selby vs Gradovich and maybe Mitchell vs Linares plus Joshua vs Johnson.

Someone of Tommy Coyle's level sell that many tickets? Kevin Mitchell sold out Upton Park vs Katsidas.

Ricky Hatton also sold over 50,000 vs. Lazacano.

Imagine if Calzaghe was against a British rival or Hattton was against a British rival?

Haye vs. Klitschko did about 60,000 in Germany.

Hatton used to take about 15,000 over to Vegas.
