Do the mods just automatically move every pac/may thread to the master thread?

I guess it makes sense when you have half the forum taken up by very similar and pointless threads, but every now and then someone does come up with something interesting which deserves to be discussed as a stand alone thread.

The master thread kind of forces you to sift through a lot of nonsense to find the posts that interest you.

 

Even as a Floyd fan I am starting to have doubts this fight happens, i listened to fat dan and steven a smith yesterday and what dan said kind of made sense, floyd holds the keys and in this case you can't say arum and team pac are lying to agreeing to the deal even floyds team never contested that actually Stephen said they are 3/4 of the way there.

Floyd ultimately holds the keys to this fight I still have hope he will give us this fight.

 

soccer is a really tough sport also.

I have my doubts as well, trust me. I can't see anyone who doesn't. But that's all it is, is doubt. I'm not pointing fingers just yet. And while Arum has been running his mouth too much, I wouldn't place much blame on him either.

From now until this subject blows over - meaning they a) both retire or b) officially sign to fight each other - just don't make any Mayweather-Pacquiao threads.

Don't make threads about them fighting, or why they aren't fighting.
Don't make trolling or ridiculous pro-Mayweather threads. (even if they have naught to do with Pacquiao)

Don't post what some other active or retired boxer (or trainer, or ref, or promoter, or S&C coach, or adviser, or ex-girlfriend, or basketball teammate, or some rapper or radio host) said about Mayweather or Pacquiao in an interview with Elie Seckbach on YoutTube, or via their own social media account.

Speaking of social media - if you are "breaking" any news about Mayweather, or Pacquiao, or Mayweather vs. Pacquiao and your source is social media - keep it to yourself. Don't make a thread about it.

Any of the above will be merged. So just don't bother. Just DON'T make threads fitting any of the above descriptions.

Don't, and there won't be any merging. If you don't like having conversations you're in the middle of get merged - well, don't make threads like those illustrated above. If you see one, don't participate (and if you do choose to participate, don't get too emotionally attached to it).

They will all end up here until condition A (both Mayweather and Pacquiao officially retire from boxing, or die or something) or condition B (they officially sign to fight) is met. End of story.

When condition A or B is met this will be removed permanently from the Sticky threads list and closed forevermore. Any subsequent retrospective threads about Mayweather or Pacquiao or Mayweather vs. Pacquiao (as either a fight that happened, or could've happened, depending on which condition is met) will then be free to exist without being merged.

 

Until the fight is actually signed, Ive no problem with them being moved.

 

As much as I like to blame arum I don't think he is to blame now he is just old and emotional. Stephen esp Floyds boss said they are 3/4 of the way there so that means arum and pac have not been lying as I first thought so it really comes down to Floyd I just think he Is just going to announce the fight when he wants to.

well dude is already talking about it should be moved back to May 30 or June. but before that he said May 2nd is for mexcians only! Then last week KOncz said there isnt a contract so hes been lying all along...Cant trust that snake at all.

bob is a snake but at this time its more of him being old and emotional, He never said it should be moved to may 30 what he said I think was its getting late for promotion and its better if they move it later if not than they need to agree on it quickly I think it has already been agreed on to fight on may 2 even though bob does not want.

 

yeah its annoying. Just let people talk about it and if you don't want to then just don't click on those damn threads.

Its a boxing forum and we're not allowed to talk about the biggest potential fight.
