Handball is much more stamina intensive. Because in football or soccer like you call it. You can find breaks in the middle of the match depends on you position. Ofcourse if you are a mid player there is very little break time and thats also why we see midfielders run most miles. Handball however there is action nonestop and the most insane stamina you need. My first handball match I thought I was going to die
