Bro I'm not thinking deep... this is my natural demeanor:yep I haven't kicked into second gear yet.

You do realize how this business models going to work right? the first few shows will be stacked as stacked cards can get, because he's trying to get fans to tune in, and when he gets the viewer hooked in, then the quality will drift right back to where it was last year with Garcia Salka cards as far as the eye can see.

Why because he's protecting his investment, when his investment loses, the profit he can make off of them will fall precipitously, so don't risk exposing the cash cow, not good for business. And because most of the casual fans are stupid they don't know any better and they think the matches that will be sold to them in the future are actually worthwhile and competitive. So the laundry list of matches with protected fighters vs bums will continue for years to come if he has his way because that's whats good for his business.

Yeah i know how it works. Gotta come out banging, all we can do is hope it stays like this. but every winner of every fight will become a bigger star so I can see him making good matchups down the road.

Ill have to look into this, I really hope its true. Would be great.

BUT - if he doesnt put on quality matches, the best matches possible, this is all for naught. Will simply be a bigger embarrassment to boxing to fail on such a big stage.

This opportunity needs to be taken advantage of by putting on quality fights. If that happens it will boost my excitement for this big time. But I have my doubts.

Haymon can make all the money he wants as long as I get to see the fights I want, boxing grows as a sport and the fighters are taken care of

Dont think anyone is saying hes an "awesome guy".
Ive no idea what hes like as a person.

Its great that it might grow boxing.
He could be the most evil money grubbing ******* in existence as long as hes good for boxing, as far as Im concerned.

The promoters are in it to make money, the managers, the networks, even the fighters wouldnt be taking shots to the head for free.

I mean, your butcher doesnt sell you meat because he likes you does he?

Boxing promoters are in the game to make money. They take the financial risk so they have a right to the reward if there is any. So what if he is a sleezebag, most promoters are, just relax and enjoy watching all these fights that would never be on if not for him

Al Hayman could be doing for the money. But he could be passionate about boxing and doing all that feeling good about the sport while making money out of it.

Yvon Michel, in Quebec, he promoted Lucas, Pascal, Stevenson, Lemieux to name a few. The guy have boxed himself. He was involved in the amateur olympic team at one point. Than started promoting the pros. But he also runs a boxing show in Quebec's biggest sport channel. Boxing is his passion, I am sure he likes promoting boxing in general, and he makes money out of it.

haymon doesn't have enough depth in his stable. look at his list of fighters, there's a lot of dead weights.

just like what he did with hbo and showtime, his fights will eventually turn into mismatches.

Haymon ALWAYS makes **** fights. Thurman-Guerrero is starting off the NBC series with an all action bang (if RunTime holds his ground) but after that it's back to sad Haymon mismatches.
