Sorry I slept through this whole card but it's now on youtube

Even more interestingly is the fact the Thai's INVENTED the drink and the Thai dude effectively sold the rights to the Red Bull dude in Europe.

Regarding the whorish nature, the fights are often FREE TO ENTER with the advertising and sponsorship paying for everything. Effectively the bigger crowd the more revenue from the advertising and branding.

It's a strange system considering we in the west are so used to seeing huge site fees, PPV, massive network expenses etc.

The fact the fighters are paid ****** all is why some of the Thai's fight so many stay busy fights.

Interesting model and something that in some ways is really knowing about.

Yeah, it really is just a culture shock for us in the West, it takes some adjustment to.

Kind of like how people from other countries find the wait-service tipping system here in the US totally & utterly bizarre and kind of resenting the implied mandate of a gratuity. (and the vague threat of bad service or bodily fluids in your meal if you return to a place where you under-tipped). But, my attitude that I'm starting to adopt is basically the same as that of the more sensible & enlightened tourists visiting here, which is that you don't blame the wait staff (or in this case, the actual Thai boxers themselves) for a system they didn't create and have no choice in the matter. Just kind of have to shrug and roll with it. When in Rome...
