It's clear why Han is inconsistent. Look at his footwork. He keeps switching stances. It's a bad habit left over from his karate days. He keeps switching because in karate, you switch so your opponent can't figure what side you're going to kick from. It's costing him the fight. He might not even be legitimately orthodox since in karate you usually lead with your dominant hand
